Default What would be best for soloing harder mobs?

Kinda like in WoW a DK or Prot paladin and in EQ a shadow knight. I am thinking of Champ/Reaver/BM but just wondering if a shield spec using pally would be better. I dont care how long it takes to kill mobs I just want to be unkillable. Maybe solo invasion type stuff. Also wouldnt mind doing some AoE grinding.

I tried to solo a minor fire rift in a out of the way place today right after the servers came back up on my pally. The rift was level 19 and I was 20. I got to the final stage easily enough but couldn't get the named and all his adds down before they killed me even with my 10 minute complete heal up. I'm sure if it had been a level 16-17 rift I would have been able to do it. Point is in Beta 6 unkillable is pretty difficult to do anymore. I'm not complaining personally, the only reason I tried it was to see if I could do it. I'm not sure I should have been able to solo even a minor even con rift although I bet some AOE mages with pets could have done it.

I mix of pal/reaver/warlod should be good at it and get some High VoidKnight + champ spec for mana user pawning. It is just insane.
