The maligned deep paladin and deep warlord builds

Hi!

I know the math for main tanks, and it's hard to argue with 38 reaver and either 28 VK or 16 warlord / 10 paladin (with 2 points free, I guess). Still, that leaves off-tanks, who aoften have a little more leeway. And warriors have no real support souls, right? Anyway, it made me think. Would the build below serve a purpose at all? It's as support'y as warriors get, and *should* still be capable of (off-)tanking.

Only problem with Warlord buffs is they get overidden in raids . I use a 38/28 (RV/WL) build just for the extra avoidance. I dodge like a rogue! lol (not really).

But in truth depending on the content you are doing and the gear level you have, if it helps ur raid its all good, against content when ur maybe not geared high enough, then the ultra mitigation builds generally help u stay up when ur normally deaded

There are also very very few encounters that actually require an off tank, most of them require multiple main tanks.

In physical fights, this build will offer as much mitigation as 38 reaver, or very close to it. Against magical damage, it's going to be much weaker. This build is fine/fun to use if you are off-tanking. Unfortunately, like the others have said, those times are few and far between.

PS: The other popular/powerful build you were referencing is 26VK/20Paladin/20WL, I believe. It's very early and I may be wrong on that one.
