Default About ID gear and crit cap

Dont know if there is already a similar post so here's my question:
Since the ID vendor items have a lot of AP but very low crit stats what is the best way to stay at crit cap as a dps warrior (sigil, runes, rogue items)?

Why would you care about crit cap? AP is far more important.

You dont need to be as far as cap, but i manage to sit around 850-900 through PA and runes, my sigil is full ap.

this can be easily verified using ferboten's DPS calculator, simply increase Ap by 25, see raid dps increase, vs crit by 50, see raid dps increase, and u see crit win always under softcap.
Later he does note that it is more complicated eventually when completely ID geared as he is as he is at about 950 crit self buffed.

It is not as hard as it sounds though since in ID you will be wearing an earth or fire sigil which is going to be crit heavy with how the vendor bought ones are itemized.

Crit is still good its just hard to find the items that have the appropriate crit weight to make it worth it!!!

I just use my crit sigil to get over 900 crit unbuffed. Course I shouldn't if going by the ratio as I am only at around 1450 AP.

But basically having a crit sigil if in heavy str gear is the easy solution, either that or use dex runes on gear

Just curious where does anyone even run earth resist?
I run minmax on drak, mak, rusilla.
On rusilla you can just heal the raid dmg and can position to avoid the blades.
I run fire on izzy and conclave.
Been a while since i had a shot at laethys due to guild rebuild but i think i remember us wearing minmax on her too.

Trust me you will want a full earth sigil, earth runes on shoulder & chest, earth vial... at least for your first couple of kills. It helps. A ton.

Now that we've dropped her a couple of times and things feel smooth (and they did), we've let people drop the runes off of their gear and switch to Fire (obvious reasons). But every ounce of "living" helps when learning Laethys...

ER on Mak is a waste of time unless you're attempting HM, or maybe tanking.

ER isn't needed on Rusila if you have respectable health pool and don't get hit by blades.

FR is only arguable for Ituziel sub-35% when he starts the mega aoe, and that depends on your healer core (assuming you properly dodge waves).

FR isn't really needed on Conclave (even HM) if you play smart.

Drak? Pretty sure he comes equipped with an "I Win" button on the floor somewhere. You barely need 400 hit to drop him, 0 resists even matter and 10/11 HK guilds can (and have) drop him.

ER for Laethys, FR for Maelforge... yeah, that pretty much sums it up.

ER isn't needed on HM Maklamos, either.

i don't really get the pa vs crit 1-1.7 or 1-1.8 ratio

Does it mean that for each pa you get you should try to have 1.7 crit ?
I don't think so because it would meqn thqt even with 800 pq you should try to be crit cqpped

    or

Does it mean thqt to get the same dps boost with crit qnd pq you hqve to get 1.7 crit for each pa point ?
Meaning that you can sacrifice 17 crit if you gain 10 pa ?

i do remember thqt there is a formula to calcul the amount of crit to have self buffed to be at crit cap with raid buff but i don't manage to found it. Can someone give me a link to it

From what i read someone said that in 51 champ you just need to have enought crit to keep frenzied stike up is it true ?

    Thanks

Yes but he said that you don't need more than the crit need to keep it up. Is it true or do you need much more.
He said something like 850 or 880 crit

This. (though it's AP "attack power" not PA)

If you get an item that gives you 12 AP but loses 17 crit (including strength and dex contributions) then that item is an upgrade. That is all the ratios mean.
