    Default Playing conquest as a warrior!!

    The most terrible experience for the class. try to target someone and charge them and automatically end up with invisible players wiping you instantly. Conquest is a huge waste of development and wow..fix warriors so they can at least defend against themselves in all the damn aoe and range....3/4 classes are always 99% of the time range...fix or make warrior range 30mm and viable as well...NEEDED ASAP.

    Go 21 VK and get Riftstorm.

    Then whatever.

    Planar blade + rift summon = gr8 times. Especially when pulling someone into your zerg is an instant death sentence.

    Rift storm doesn't = no win nao?

    Just lay dead near the fight and collect.

    Depends on what you run but my guild usually run with like 5 riftstorm warriors that jump in at the same time.

    I run 26 vk build for solid defense and decent aoe, it's a build I don't like for WF but it is excellent in conquest. If you are trying to run the typical 38/28 builds you will be instantly crushed

    I run 38/28 with 5 other warriors and we are crushing people.

    Trion please listen,

    Warriors need a 30meter ranged ability in conquest. In the closing moments of a conquest match you gain marks by "tagging" as many idols and the boss as you can find! ALL other classes can do this from miles away whereas warriors have to get into 20meter range or melee range to even touch it, we then get slaughtered in the process and have to respawn outside the conquest match. whereas our rogue, mage and cleric friends can still run around tagging the idols.

    THE RESULT OF THIS IS ALL OTHER CLASSES GAIN DOUBLE THE CONQUEST MARKS WHEN COMPARED TO WARRIORS! THIS NEEDS RECTIFYING.

    even if you nerf riftstorm to compensate for it please atleast give us a chance against the other classes at range. We are sitting ducks in conquest matches

    Well if you have a heavy team of wars synchronizing rift storm then of course you can be effective, but your typical war without such support is dead.

    Have to admit I am unfamiliar with the details of WF. I seem to get 10 marks for the march and 10 for the boss. How do you get more via tagging things? I never get any actual marks during the games

    Woah woah woah. Speak for yourself there skippy. Just bc you don't have valor and haven't figure out the right spec for conquest doesn't mean you can "Offer" to nerf one of our abilities.

    All I can say is reaver = win. Figure it out.

    As others have said, don't even bother going dps and trying to kill people during conquest, you are only hurting your xp/mark/favor/prestige gain.

    Go full tank (with enough VK for pull in) and enough reaver for soul sickness spread = win.

    (For pug raid vs raid at least) If you got the pocket heals or your in a smaller tactical group you can get away with more.

    This should really be its own threat but I'm getting ******* sick and tired of the anti warrior sh*t they have put in this game. We can be PC and say "anti melee" but lets be honest, it's anti warrior, because other classes have the option to go 30+ range.

    Haven't tried conquest, but Atrophinius in primal feast is definitely anti warrior. If you got range you can position and avoid charge insta gibs, help out on anyones casket, dps the boss. If you're melee, oops, I mean warrior, you're stuck dodging adds, backing out when the boss charges, etc.

    I keep hearing people say "Warriors are great on trash!" Yeah well, one of our rogues did 17k on a HK top floor trash pack pull. Most warriors do 12-13k on these pulls. I have never seen a warrior pull 17k on the trash pull. Talking overall dps, not just burst during cornered beast.

    There is simply no point to bringing a warrior anywhere anymore.

    Warrior tanks are fine but there are only so many needed per raid, and they have started to put mechanics in which intentionally favor other types of tanks (like Cleric tanking on Laethys being a requirement). But DPS warriors are an endangered beast.

    Maybe I'm being alarmist, people will say things like "Warriors are fine". But I'm tired of the feeling that somehow warriors are dragging a raid down and holding it back.

    The real problem is that ranged folks can stand in melee when required with NO PENALTY (sicaron). Meanwhile, melee is stuck in melee, and stuck dealing with these stupid mechanics Trion keeps throwing at us. We have no option to go range on fights like Iztuiel or Conclave and are constantly forced to play better then a range button spammer who doesn't have to do diddly except move out of goo.

    He didn't do it in the same build that pulled 4k on the boss. Just sayin.
