Beastmaster viability.

So is a Beastmaster centric build viable as a dps or pvp spec at high levels? I really like the playstyle and waslooking at a Beastmaster/Champion build but wouldnt know what to use as my third.

I use pretty much this with some points shifted around for stealth detection when I've got a pesky stalker.

Decent build but not a chart topper for dps or survivability. Helps to have friends nearby and spec to share auras.

i use the bm-specc from the miniguide fro raids when we don't have someone else doing it.

It has actually quite decent dps single-target and aoe.

For Ituziel in ID i only where ~2-300dps behind my champion specc.

And with the pet you have less of a dps-loss while being disconnected from boss.

Only downside is that you die if there is a misspull or someone pulled mobs and the tanks dont pay attention (aggro via enraged companion buff)

Do not use for pvp, seriously. It sounds like it would be nice with its stealth detection, but it isn't. It lacks mobility, survivability and burst capabilities. Great for raiding, horrible for pvp.
