across the board nerfs that don't address the issue without bug fixes announced by daglar and never acknowledged by our dev scream the opposite to me
fully expecting NOTHING warrior related in the patch notes coming up in an hour here. we'll see
Might as well kill em while they are down:
* Riftblade: Stoneshield: Fixed this so it no longer prevents certain Event and Boss mechanics it should not be able to block.
*sigh* I've been a faithful warrior for a year now, always pushing through all the crap that the devs push onto us. But its really starting to get old. The soul system is supposed to offer a player the ability to customize there character's abilities to match there playstyle, yet every couple weeks I'm constantly having to change that because of changes that were not well thought out. I for one actually loved the pre 1.8 RW spec, and would love to see it return but the damage is no longer any good at all for 2-Handers. Guess I'll either adapt again or move to a more "stable" game. Diablo 3 is looking good, and no this is not a threat as I still have a 3 month sub to see how warriors continue to develop. That is if my game doesn't keep crashing constantly.....

I like how nerfs happen ASAP in hotfixes but our bugs are not fixed at all....

Tomoka <The Granite Guard> R40 Cleric @ Seastone
I might re-roll a rogue. Not because there imbalanced. Not because Warriors get nerffed again and again, and not because we are being pigeon holed yet again, but because there dev is not only alive and well, but fixing bugs immediately
Atrius fixing our bugs or not I won't be re-rolling.

Well, I hope he makes an appearance soon. One thing you have to understand about those who play the warrior archetype in games is that they are often gruff individuals who have a regrettable lack of tact. We lean forward in our chairs, studying the battlefield with a mouse in one hand and the other curled securely around a flagon of ale. You have to be a tough SOB to run with a pack of warriors, and if he felt like we as a group were too hard on him, perhaps he just doesn't know how to communicate with us.
I see a lot of people handing out demerits for not 'giving trion their props' or whatever, but when I see non-answers posted like the one we just got instead of someone manning up and telling us what is going on, it doesn't exactly make me want to fall all over myself to kiss the developer's feet.
Tell me where is Atrius.
If Atrius is gone then they replaced him with an equally moronic warrior dev. Either way, warriors are still going to get crapped on, so either Atrius finally buys a clue and fixes warriors and fights for warrior dps melee mechanics with the raid devs or he isn't doing it anymore. Either way, whoever they have in there needs to basically figure out once and for all whether or not warriors are going to be viable in this game or not. If they are, then they need to explain how, if they are not, then Trion essentially should basically begin phasing the warrior class or warrior souls out and leave it to the remaining 3 souls and allow current warrior dps'er/tanks to switch and acquire equivalent gear as a swap over. This class is dead and it's pointless to go into ID with melee mechanics being what they are for us.
