AP Scaling and other DPS changes to the Warrior going up to PTS

Yes Raid Buffs will have an impact, but not doubling or even tripling your outgoing DPS. As you said it can equal 500DPS which is fine, but I am seeing claims that would put the discrepancy at more like 3K DPS and that seems off, which is why I am looking for parses so I can see where it is coming from.

Good to see you are doing research on "claimed" parses. We wouldn't want a patch to release based on irrelevant results.

I'm starting to fear that this threat will get GI nerfed... really shouldn't parse with it, partially cos less than 5% of warriors have it, partially cos quite many fights have breaks that make keeping it up impossible.

Would it be the end of the world for this to happen, and have changes made to make up for the nerf? Don't forget his intention is to keep us in line with other dps callings, and lowering reliance on a trinket that doesn't like to drop wouldn't be a bad thing, necessarily.

HK best in slot for gear. Whetstones/chocolate cake/heroic vial/elder tablet/dps PA. No buffs/debuffs that can be gained by some external means in group play. Will be doing several specs with raid buffs tomorrow(friday).

excuse my noobness, on your 51champ parse you used searing strike 90 times, i cant understand why ?

Full raid buffs are boosting me from 3.2 - 3.3k to 4.3k. I haven't been able to figure out anything that is giving over that.

I don't think anyone has ever said they were doing 7k dps single target... highest I ever seen was 5k when rb was op when this pts patch first hit.

So, pipe, when you say you fed it AP do you mean you went with as much AP gear(even if not vendor, strenght and ap runes, etc?) I think that's the only way to reasonably get to 1700ish AP. That would take your crit crazy low, though. I guess it would only work with that one spec.

the spec LOVES ap, and i fed it as much as I could without outside help. However, I did not test with the placeholder testing gear. Just a word to the wise, I wouldn't even bother with this spec if you don't have golem inductor. It is required.

What was your unbuffed AP/PC at? I'm just not sure how you got that high on AP while still keeping crit so high, even with rift strike.

I parsed in a normal setup, just getting as much AP as possible while maintaining a crit value that puts me at soft cap with raid buffs. I can't check because PTS is down, but I'm sure the end result wasn't 1700ap.

I would like to suggest that parsing with GI is a bad idea as it has too much rng and is a rare drop. I think parsing with the pvp trinket/ros world event trinket would be a better idea in the mean time. Other than that, in full raid buffs, from what I have seen, mages, rogues, and warriors are 100-200 dps within one another, with clerics about 300 dpsish behind the top parse.

I personally havent seen someone claim 7k parses thats crazy but if they do than its a troll

It seems pretty consistantly at 5 stacks on a dummy for me.
