AP Scaling and other DPS changes to the Warrior going up to PTS

51rb/15para is a nice build. It is the only build that is unique to not include any form of champ which is a +. In its current form it is relying on DW for ST and 2H for AOE damage. The AP scaling on RB is somewhat better than the other builds so it should see a better benefit from raid buffs.

I need to test out a BM/para 2h. I. WM might be the only way to keep up all 4 finishers.

When you do so, remember that in a raid BM numbers would go up a lot due to Primal Rage scaling off of all bleeds (unless that got stealth changed).

My friend has brought that up, I'm inclined to agree. Just causes an even larger DPS variation depending on how many people you have in a group/what their spec is. He suggested that +damage% per bleed be increased, cap the bonus to 5 bleeds (like Backhanded Blow) and let it continue to scale off of anyone's bleeds.

´no your not. this should be capped at X bleed effects. otherwise you will never be able to do real balancing.

i gues in a raid with many warriors and maybe rogues (if their dot spec is top dps, i dont know) deep BM might be top DPS spec, but it just sux to balance such exploitable skills...

Sadly, RB no longer gets a bonus from the CH crystal either and there is no AoE *fire* dmg to boost from RB crystal...

Yeah, my RB tests used the RB crystal. I was pulling around 400 to 600 more, depending on the parse, than 51 champ. Like I said, I might've done something wrong.= in my champ parse.

For 51 ch, the rotation is just MB + BF spam. With the small boost from the crystal, even nerfed, i would think it can net higher AoE DPS due to Destroyers allowing for fast AP gains to use BF and the hefty 50% dmg bonus that it gives to finishers. Not to mention, coupling Proper Timing with BF for a crit is a hefty bonus. On paper, it seems 51 CH should be higher AoE. But ill test myself to see.

I was using MB, BF (with PT) & kept cornered beast up too, every CD. Perhaps that lowered my dps ;)

I tried it about 2 nights ago. I wasn't seriously trying to parse, though, but with my live gear I saw a 200 dps decrease than before(before Slayer's and FOW changes).

Doubt it would be good, if you're going to go past scald in RB, you should be aiming to pick up at least enhanced burst + fully talented elemental touch.

I forgot about the bonus you're getting from Frenzied strike by going champ. I was mainly thinking along the lines of ET.

I believe the top ones are currently::
38 Paragon/ 22 Champion / 6 Riftblade (Dual Wield)

Could probably just make taht 38/23/5, since we don't need the point in Surging Energy and one extra in Champ gives you 3% crit damage.

Also, could anyone test AoTR with Icy Burst. Mentioned it a few pages back, but haven't been able to test it myself. Is it actually increasing the damage?
