Atrius, we appreciate the update, and adding something to 1.6 that would help address our power starvation issues (and indirectly, our spec/buff choices) would go a long way toward helping us. However, 1.7 may be a bit too far away to ask Warriors to wait for other needed changes. Hopefully, there are some smaller things you guys can hotfix in for Warriors and make some incremental changes along the way, and leave the truly huge stuff (like reprioritized stat weights for STR) for 1.7. I suggest this because as it stands, PvP is just brutal for us right now, and from what I'm told, we're struggling in PvE as well.
Whatever you guys decide to do and in whatever timeframe, please continue to keep us posted. Communication is going to be very important over the next couple months to keep your (Warrior) subscribers from becoming disenchanted with the game. Thanks again.

R40 Guardian Warrior
Honestly, I have to say..wow...
I usually keep quiet on the forums, reading up on how our class is doing. Finding out if i'm going to get hit with a crowbar next hotfix or patch and continue to spec and respec till I find something that works.
I'm your average 51RB warrior right now, I really have no complaints, other than I would like to do a little more DPS to keep in par with the rogues in our guild. If anything, the boost to rouges sparked a little friendly competition between our wars and rogues to have higher DPS, which helps our raids out in general.
Like I said, I rarely post here and not much warrants me to post at all, just due to the flame/trolls/etc
I read post after post, Warrior Forums/Classes of Telara/ and the PvP section, Constantly, I don't think there is a day goes by I don't stop in for an hour or so to read the forums before a raid or something.
Atrius, have to say you really turned it around for me, just when i was about to give up, communicating with the warriors and not letting us get hit with a bat, waking up the next morning thinking what just happened and where the hell am I, anymore and i really, honestly appreciate that more than you know
With that being said. I really have to say. I'm well.... dissapointed in you, 90% of whats wrong with warriors is our damage and energie starvation, since all the nerfs. We can still tank just fine, the warriors on the forums have proven that, we can hold our own(broken as we may be)
To ignore the whole community for months, come in give us hope and then address a problem that 80% of us were not even concerned about. I'm sorry, but really? Honestly I think every warrior on this fourm that has worked their butts off to help the warriors on the forum do more damage since the nerfs, deserves a little explanation of why you ignored the problem they were trying to fix and you went main priority on tanking.
Don't really want to read through all the pages to see if one minor change was mentioned. Reduce the rediculous range of path of the hurricane. I've also noticed with many of the rogue cleave style aoes vs the warrior cleaves it seems based on weapon in terms of the reach of the cleave. A rogue can stand at max possible melee range and hit mobs roughly 2 meters away with a cleave where as my mighty blow's cone effect is greatly smaller if I go with one handers especially daggers. (Then again I might just seem crazy in this assumption.)
No high burst DPS, no ranged DPS, no defensive abilities, no decent AE DPS, no support soul and no means of healing = no fun in PvP.
Suggestions
Since you made bloodthirst rubbish (the champ ability, not the guild ability) - change the ability to a short duration of immunity with a longer CD - and give the ranks of blood frenzy a 15/30% heal like what we had with blood thirsty before you nerfed it. Bam, warriors have some healing and a defensive ability (that only triggers off a killing blow).
Give some of our ST finishers a HIGH power cost but do significantly more damage. Bam we have unsustainable high burst.
Give bst greater pets a significant armor cleave as one of their abilities. Put bst finishers oGDC like RB. Make their stealth detection actually work in PvP.
do i understand correctly that for pvp we r getting only nerfs this patch ? (since they fix only bugged abilites taht r buffing us and leaving stuff like subdue bugged) and they r buffing surv of rogues that we already have to spec a bit of tanking to win ? so now we wont win at all ?and buffing mages since they already have np vs us in at least 2-3 specs? so they will even kill us faster?
do i understand it correct? next time i 1v1 i should only duel warriors ?guess if those changes goes live.. we will see some major quits (and when u look at warrior population in pvp now... not many r up even now)
All this was put in place on Aug 12th, its already been 2 months.
Are we really gonna wait for a total of 4 months until we get our classes main concern fixed??
I'm all for fixing us the right way, but this here is universally seen as a horribly thought out, knee jerk, unnecessary nerf that happened to us.
RIFT 1.4 Hotfix #5 - 8:00am PDT 8/12/11 [NA] - 1:00am GMT 12/8/11 [EU]
SOULS
* Addressed some specific PvP balance issues involving Cabalist and Paragon builds.
* PvP: Reduced the bonus given by certain enhancing buffs during PvP only.
- Teaching of the Five Rings, Weapon Specialization, and Rift Fury are reduced by 10%.
- Slayer's Bearing is reduced by 5%.
- Force of Will is reduced by 5% in PvP for each Soul Point spent in it.
- Strike Like Iron is reduced by 5% when used with 1 or 2 Attack Points, and 10% when using 3 Attack Points.
- Bend Like the Reed: Bonus is reduced by 5% per Attack Point used.
* PvP: Certain damaging abilities have had their damage reduced when using them in PvP.
- Paired Strike, Titan's Strike, Punishing Blow, and Frenzied Strike have been reduced by 10%.
- Reaping Harvest and Path of the Raptor have been reduced by 15%.
You know what? I don't care if this isn't constructive. I'm sick of it. I'm not waiting two months for warriors to be fixed.
What did I fight tonight as a rank 8 warrior 1 v 1.
A rank 8 cleric who had full health when I died.
A rank 8 rogue who had full health when I died.
A rank 8 mage who had full health when I died.
Did I mention that I'm a rank 8 warrior? And I know my class.
Seriously Atrius, **** this. Why do I need a healer to follow me around everywhere when every other class doesn't need one?
I NEVER complain, but I think I'm just about done.

Warriors are a dieing breed in warfronts, seen 2 out of 20 in a port scion match the other day, even less in others.
I'm not one to normally post or whine much, but you've really ****ed up warriors badly. I couldnt gives a rats arse about tanking.
Get your priorities right trion.
I'm also not one for making alts or re-rolling.
After seeing the post about waiting until 1.7 , you've made a decision for me I didnt want to take.
After months of voicing concerns.... After months of Riftblade or nothing.... After months of adding insult to injury with continued nerfs to the ground with EVERY patch while other classes continue to make progress in the CORRECT direction.... After half of the warrior population has ALREADY rerolled or quit...
1.6 hits and tanking souls are slightly different.
This.... words just can't describe this.
Redneckx R8 (Warrior): Minimal threat, 500 or lower dps on dummies
<Banished>
I run two different builds for PvP, DW and 2hander. Both are heavy RB, yes, but I still do well, usually top 5-10 damage and top KBs. R7 with R6 daggers, and the crafted 2 hander.

PvP whining never ends...
It just goes on and on my friends...
"Something killed me in a warfront and I don't know what it was...
So I'll start a thread and rage and cry forever just because..."
