why are tanks concerned with damage meters? I stopped caring about them the moment I became MT. I'm too buisy making sure I've pulled correctly, positioned the mob(s), and keeping track of my raid to bother caring about dps - BECAUSE IT'S NOT MY JOB. If a Rogue tank can pull 3000 dps IDK, as long as the ***er can hold agro and not die, whatever else they're doing is just gravy.

When I tank as a rogue on large pulls I usually pop my super-dodge from blade dancer. Every dodge I strike back. Every dodge increases threat thanks to a greater. My two big AOE aggro builders Blitz and Disturbance hit 10 targets. If he had Annihilate up for the 15% attack power bonus, 2 AOE hits, vortex for more AOE, used twin strike that hits 4 targets I can see how it would be pretty straight forward to pull that kind of DPS on large pulls, especially in raid gear.

How about we lower our DPS 20% and increase our mitigation by 20% so we can be even?

Spotter's adds over 2k to raid dps. What is the problem with rogue tank dps exactly?

Since the effect overhaul on spotters its been normalized to anywhere between 100 and 140 dps per damage dealer, depending on mob armor, debuffs, and such.

This is probably just some lul observation from someones act, whatever.
