Exquisite whetstones bugged?

Still not working. The sad thing is, the loss of the stats from r8 gear would almost be a wash if whetstones were working, but they aren't, and their priorities are so flipped that who knows when it will get fixed.

Trion has time to read QQ threads from Warfront and General section, but cba to even click on the warrior section.

We're generally fine with the current state of Whetstones and are continuing to monitor a number of smaller issues involving them

There is absolutely no difference for me from yesterday at least. I use fine whetstones to test and there is no difference in damage gap w/ vs w/o...

UNLESS It was never broken and unbuffed DS* hitting for 861 vs 888(w/ stones) is the way it should be.

In my experience, these things are not fixed until we are seeing well over 100 damage increase on paragon attacks when using 2x exquisite. I saw frootloop's post in the other thread about them being fixed on test and the numbers sounded way too low.

It can easily be tested using weapons with and without whetstones to compare damage change with weapon DPS change. I might even buy another r6 dagger to test it and keep bug reporting til they fix it.

Why is it when something is giving more of a bonus than intended it gets disabled on live, then hotfixed shortly after...yet when people are not getting a benefit everything is left as-is?

Holiday weekend coming up now, all the devs must be on vacation.

Are the caster ones working right now? Just make the stones 100 AP til they get them working properly..
