I messed with that one a bit but without a tank soul or Avitar of the Rift you just get killed too fast. The build you quoted needs to be fixed since its best to not use RW even though its buffed because of the ele damage increase you get in rb. So you shouldn't take double jeopardy and do the weapon swap thing. Best just to put those 3 points in parry and always DW.

I'm sorry, I don't follow. I use DW constantly with this build. I don't swap weapons.

my macro now is different from my level 50 one, it would look like this:

cast Death Touch
cast Path of Hurricane <---< Not sure if these
cast Path of the Raptor <---<will clip each other
cast Rising Waterfall <----<or if one needs to be removed.
cast Frost Strike
cast Searing Strike
cast Stonespear
cast Flamespear
cast Path of the Wind

Turn Blade->Frost Strike->Path of Hurricane->Searing Strike->Path of Raptor->Frost Strike->Rising Waterfall->Searing Strike->repeat with stone/flame/path of the wind for range. Finishers would be SLI first when start dps, using Storm Burst/Earth Burst/Reaping Harvest/Fiery Burst(range finisher) as follow ups. RW when you need to close gaps or apply 2 second stun or Thread the Trees. You can macro the two of course using RW priority since it refreshes a lot. I currently dont have Path of Hurricane quite yet so I only use the raptor and waterfall. I like my burst.

tl;dr from my last post. It's too squishy for level 50.

But, regardless, you should have 2 macros one with death touch one without, same with wrist strike. You should also not use any followups at all with that build and get rid of the talents that improve them.

You can use thunder strike instead of searing strike unless you plan on always putting up freeze armor.

I've been using 51RB/15Para a bunch in PvP today.

With the R7 synergy crystal and R8 daggers and the dex trinket its pretty ridiculous. You don't even need LW.

Same thing, Whispered Silence is the Guardian version of Words of War.

27 Pally / 21 Champ / 18 VK for low ranked players in WFs.

I was thinking about trying this spec with the new patch, since I'm only rank 3.
In the paladin soul, why the points in defender instead of hardened will ? I thought magic defense was more important in PVP then armor, especially when all warriors go riftblade now.

Another thing, would scales of justice be worth using as finisher in AE situations ? Its less damage then death blow, but AE and magic damage instead of physical.

I'm not going to be updating this thread any longer. I've canceled my sub and will just play single player games until the next crop of MMOs come out.

Rift was great at the start but they've bitten off more than they can chew. Too many changes too fast with little to no testing has made this less than fun for me.
