    I see Warlord listed as utility and as defensive on different forums.....which is it?

    It's utility. And it's defensive.

    It's basically a Support soul that is an excellent tanking soul, too. Archons are DPS/Support, Bards are Heal/Support, Warlords are Tank/Support.
