I do greatly appreciate the intent in trying to move away from warrior dps being required to use Strike Like Iron in its rotation. Overall it was not per se a fun ability. However as seen from the cry on the board it highlights that warriors need particular love at this time with a number of the souls having difficulties standing on their own.
Some of my suggestion would be adding choice modifying both to the beast master, champion, and warlord trees. The following suggestions are early passive abilities that hope to empower the deeper trees. These suggestions are to hope move warriors from one ability to a more fun but yet appropriate class respecting builds.
Beast Masters as specializing in a "rage"
Suggest New Abilities:
Tier 1:
Unyielding Rage : 5 point Ability : Each point gives 1% crit : Capping off at 5% Crit
Tier 2:
Junge Fever : 2 point Ability : Your critical Hit causes your next physical hit to deal an additional 10% physical damage. : This caps off at 20% increase to critical damage.
Warlords : To help towards making it an off spec for enhancement However a dps boost ability would be needed early on to cause this tree to have more appeal to the dps souls. Here are my suggestions
Tier 1:
Change Intimidating from on being hit to hitting the npc. This if changed would allow for the 2nd soul to provide some additional utility for the warrior. For those that didn't know what Intimidating is, it causes the npc to have their spell power and attack power reduced by 5%.
Tier 2:
Governance : 5 point ability : Strength provides 0.06 per point in this ability of Critical Hit. : Overall this would cause plate items to be more appealing due to higher strength but a very desirable ability for the other trees since it forces warriors to capitlize on Strength not Dex. Also this would help us to scale better which we need so desperately.
Champion Changes
Tier 1:
Body Conditioning: 5 Point Ability : Increase your attack power by 2% of your Strength : Caps off at 10% Another ability that would help not make only strength more appealing but allowing us an outlet to scale with gear better.
Tier 2:
Tainted Blades: 5 point ability : Your critical hits with your blade causes the target to bleed for 8 sec for 24% of the damage done. Can be applied up to 3 times. : This ability was inspired by Serrated blades in the Assassin tree. Slightly higher damage and timer to make up for slower weapons.
I would shift Thunderous Kick to a different Tree to provide the spot for this ability. The good thing about this it would allow for a Champion to actually go deeper into his tree to gain the benefits from it.
Tier 3:
Change Frenzied Strike followup to add the following: increases your damage by 10% for 4 seconds.
