You know that we already have that in the game...?

    I meant to add this:

Arguably the best ability available out of the Pally tree is the 0 point ability Aggressive Block...............

No heaking. Soul uses a different resource than mana.

    They would have to either

1.) nerf the souls damage to 1/3 of a pure dps, along the lines of chloro.

    or

2.) make them heal everyone BUT themselves.

yes but not in the manner I am speaking. I'm talking a full on healing dps class, not one that has healing reduced due to lack of talents, or ability. I'm talking a stupid wow pvp druid all over agian.

that differs from the inquisicars and such how???

btw since were on this healing thing i dont think that the T2 trinket from DSM the healing one should be reactive off self heals we went into a wf the other day were there were a crap of justicar tanks for some reason and they just kept healing each other massive through those trinkets it was nuts.... if anything it probably be a % of the healing they do goes to the other players
And the little Warrior said to the little Mage "One day I'm going to grow up to be a fierce dual wielding Paragon and people will run in fear because I'll be so Intimidating in Battle" The Mage looked at the little Warrior and said "Ya well, I'm going to be a Pyromancer" and that was that.

Any heals low in the tree would just be way too OP when combined with other souls. I'm not sure it's all that interesting if you got heals 44 points in a tank soul. I do find warriors a bit weak for solo PvE / questing and would support some self heals if they could be balanced for PvP.

As others have said, the healing tank is the Justicar.

    I have a 50 Cleric and warrior.

You are afraid that warriors with healing would be automatically overpowered while mages and clerics (even rogues) do it already (not all of them from behind)?

    Aren't you overreacting a bit?
    I play all callings.

Nope. Justicar is not a Holy paladin anymore than it's a Templar. It's a Protection Paladin that is an off-healer.

I tried to make it work to be similiar to a Holy paladin, and it doesn't cut it at all. It's not even a healing spec. It's like saying meleeing-for-mana is the only way for a Holy paladin to heal...ah, no!

    Angry much?

There's so much customization in this game, it's ridiculous. But not everyone needs to be able to do everything, and going that direction will just homogenize everyone.
Would be a valid concern in a game with multiple classes that filled different roles.

In Rift, with only 4 callings, it's senseless that one calling has a monopoly on a role, be that taking or healing. What has happened here is that:
    • warriors are lacking a role besides DPS and tanking whereas the other classes have 3 or more roles to fill out
    • people who want to heal or support aren't allowed to play warriors

That is a neat idea but I like the idea of Reaver being a support heal soul. Leave Paladin as a tank in it's current form.

This game doesn't need another healer, even pure dps builds in cleric possess the ability to heal, wars don't need to.

All this did was make me sad. I miss my holy pally. ;-; But I really do wish the warrior had a support/healing role. Everyone else does, why don't you guys!
Be careful of the words you speak. Keep them short and sweet! For you may never know, from day to day, which ones you will have to eat!
