On a side note i`ll go with one less point in Intimidating and add that one on the disarm - 5s disarm - 15s cd
this gives another 5s no damage from melee trash mobs (does not work on bosses)

How good is avoidance in this game anyway?
Many other games dungeons, especially endgame content have attacks that can't be avoided so having god mode avoidance does little while mitigations is more important.
Block only make you take less damage once you are hit?
Parry avoids being hit totally
Same with Dodge
Is that correct? Stacking parry makes more sense then if you want avoidance.
I'm itching to try this out. I'm a big paragon fan if you can't tell.
Keep in mind: by speccing in dps souls you lose health, which you would get otherwise from tanking souls. Once I thought about investing 20 points into Riftblade for tanking. Then I realized that would mean a loss of 9.2% health, almost negating 10% damage reduction I was looking for.
And here comes the question - which is bigger 10% reduction or 10% health
Here is the scenario:
A)
You have a warrior with 10k HP and 0% reduction
If you add 10% more reduction the effective HP will be 11k
If you add 10% more HP the effective HP will be 11k
B)
You have a warrior with 10k HP and 30% reduction all around the board (magic and phys)
If you add 10% more reduction the effective HP will be 14000
If you add 10% more HP the effective HP will be 14300
Result - more HP better (small margin but still better)
So if you get something which will increase somehow your survivability you are not loosing a lot of Effective HP - in the case mentioned above - 6% more Parry are 6% more ;)
Also... i can add this funny to try build ;)

The question was asked before the first beta started in a live dev chat, about dw and 2h warriors being able to tank. And the reply straight from the devs mouth was yes, depending on which 3 souls of course and how far up the trees. Love how people say you can't do this and that, thats the reasoning in freedom of choice in this game you can try it out till it works so to speak. I have dw tanked and 2h tanked fine, from the first beta and even now. PM me and I'll show you how to make up for the lost mitigation beloved by the shield bearers, cause I know incoming sarcasms and bashing will follow this post.
Edit button is not working for me for some reason. Shield tanks imo are still going to be the end game tank, but you can 2h and dw tank, just a clarification.
