Best Raid 51 Sin Spec?

So what's the best 51 sin spec people have found? So far for me it's:

Pretty standard stuff but I wasn't able to test too much. Has anyone found a difference spec? I'm hitting 2800 on the dummy with no consumables and fervor alone.

Can't say I've ever had a 51 sin in my raids. Better dps options. I don't play a rogue, but I would assume in a long fight sin would be a terrible option.

I don't raid in my sin spec, but if I did I'd probably go *****talker. I'd assume that 15 mm for the 25% armor penetration would be better for 51 sin than the RS ap boost. Could be wrong there though. I know it is fun in pvp at least. :P

I'd say this is more of a bias for me. Way back when sin was really bad for progression. I don't keep up with rogue patches but maybe there's been enough buffs to make it viable. But most of our rogues keep clear of it except for pvp.

I'd agree with this but ports can get you killed which means a raid wipe. I'm looking for the ubber clicking the shrine spec in GP.

Ahhh, got ya. 51 sin is great burst, but sustained is going to be difficult. It can put out some sustained, but it is less than NB sustained from what I have found. If you want to play around with it though, I'd suggest either what you tried, or 51/15 Sin/mm. Sin/NB might be quasi viable as well, I haven't looked into a sin heavy spec utilizing nb as a sub.

I've rolled 51 sin in a few HK fights. I like it for it's simplicity. It's not going to be top DPS but still does decent dps.

I like it for it's simplicity. You have your builder macro, impale, and final blow on your action bar. Fun to play if you have 1 hand or if you're playing while eating.

I did a dummy parse and 38 sin did 150 more dps. I personally have not tried it on the encounter yet but we will do our first attempts tonight. I will go with 38 sin and a guildy with 51/10/5 and we will compare.

I didn't see quite as high. How did you handle the stacking and red circle? There were times where the port would take me inside the red circle, other times I couldn't because I needed to be away from her before the circle spawns.

I'm only hitting 3600 as sin-rs, though with gear in my sig so no ID MH.

Lol, actually came up with 38/20/8 as well, tweakening my BS spec for Laethys.
