Best Raid 51 Sin Spec?

I did a dummy parse and 38 sin did 150 more dps. I personally have not tried it on the encounter yet but we will do our first attempts tonight. I will go with 38 sin and a guildy with 51/10/5 and we will compare.

That's what we did and 51 sin came out ahead.... though it's about how many risks you're willing to take with ports due to the circle. I think we'll try 38 sin again and not worry about being in the red circle but only hold porting back before the circle spawns.

As a melee you need to move back every time you port before the circle spawns... it's sort of a pain.

With 51sin make sure you FB at 4 combo points or 3 global cooldowns, whichever comes later.

I didn't see quite as high. How did you handle the stacking and red circle? There were times where the port would take me inside the red circle, other times I couldn't because I needed to be away from her before the circle spawns.

I'm only hitting 3600 as sin-rs, though with gear in my sig so no ID MH.

i dont worry about the red circle, the absorb helps so much i can stand it it if needed, but need too walk back too stack... p1 im 4k 4.2k and 4.4 with rift disturbance.. yea i got id mh but no GI

No, I just macroed everything:

#show serpent strike
cast serpent strike
cast puncture
cast backstab
cast savage strike
cast ... mm attack
cast poison malice

Then usual stuff, open with jagged hit impale, hit final blow at 4 cps or 3 gcds whichever comes later. You build combo points a lot faster with serpent and going for 5 can make you hit serpent or puncture at 4cps, going for 3 cps and you'll overwrite expose weakness. In order to parse slip away-jagged (do before impale) you need to have the bard be in combat.

I have to lol at this. Not that you are asking the question, just that every where I go it seems like you are getting different results than Bella. I too would start to wonder if they are trolling you ;)

Well I've never been very good with Sin-RS tbh... highest Sic parse pre-ID was 4.9k but we move him (also have 70ping from being Canadian). This one might be an issue that I'm better with 51sin but I'm getting only 200 dps lower with 51 sin then ranger. That's a lot better then I expected.

In our last raid I used the Sin-RS variant so didn't get to parse 51myself, another rogue did to compare. Based on doing 2800 without whets, with raidbuffs 51sin should come in at over 4k in P1 on Laethys.

if your mages are on their game, the archon and 1 chloro/dom can handle all the drains on laethys, im pullin 4.1 - 4.3k on laethys in 49nb/17sin, bout the same as 38sin BS build, but no ports to time w/. aoe and much more movement and target switching friendly.

Yea, ours can't handle it either. Tried 51 sin tonight and it underperformed, I was only hitting 3.9k in P1.
