Look closer bro....You can track energy/mana on ACT too - It doesn't show tablet doing damage, it shows the energy gains. Opportunity is the same and probably just got messed up from a mage.

Right, but even macro'ing it you still get some ticks. So you're saying the entire QS DoT is 100 DPS, not weaving it manually is 100 DPS.

The gain from weaving it manually seems to be pretty small, no?

correct it's not as huge of a dps loss when you only hit qs when everything else is off cooldown, imo it's good to have both set ups, especially learning new fights having it all macro'd into one makes it much much easier to manage, essentially a 2 button spam spec with 3 others for buff managing which is very easy to play.

Manual vs macro QS is a 60-70 dps increase for me, with no clipping and minimal downtime.

The problem I find with microing QS is that you often have to fire it either with 1s left, which means you're missing out on another tick, or you wait for it to fall off completely. This is due to the 2 2-CP builders sometimes firing when you already have 3 or 4 CPs. When splinter fires and you have 3 CPs already, usually QS has 0s left on it. You then must decide whether to go to 6 CPs before a finisher or to let it fall off completely and start fresh, after the finisher.

I generally go to 6 if it's going to be more than 1 second where it's off, but I'll let it fall off completely if it's less than 1 second.
Is this the optimal way?


Edit. I never go to 6 if RFS is ready, however. And I do go to 6 if RFS is a split second away from being ready.

We had two attempts on ituziel. First attempt I was around 3500 and we wiped at about 12%. Second I was at 3800 when we killed him. I didn't look at the parse to see why, but I assume someone was slacking on buffs or debuffs the first attempt.

If there is more to it, I'd love to know.
