    Default Bard aggro bug?

Whenever I'm asked to bard in a raid, I sometimes get aggro on certain mobs. For example, I noticed it on the two warewolves on Oracle in GSB, or the troll trash in HK.

I did NOT pre-motif the raid before the pull, especially not that HoT motif. The only things up are run speed and the 3 Fanfare buffs (Vigor, Power, Knowledge). I'm literally standing there doing nothing.

Is there something I'm missing? Any help is appreciated.

Ya have your tanks pull with a damaging ability instead of a taunt...if you cannot get them to do that then drop your run speed as it generates threat for some stupid reason.

Any radius-based buffs pull threat, likely because of the way the 'still-in-radius' checks are processed. It's not a bard-only thing, though they are most likely to be victimized.

On the Oracle I've learned to not put up my Anthem untill both adds are on the tanks, then put it up and go to your position and play music to your hearts content.

Yep, it's your anthem (speed/fervor) that's doing it.

It's not just a bard thing, living energy and beastmaster aura have the same issue
