Seriously? There have been a number of threads about improving Bladedancers and Rangers; while some Bard buffs are certainly needed, don't act like this isn't a step in the right direction.

Anyway, I'm liking the Bladedancer improvements. All we need is for Deadly Dance to work on all BD finishers, especially with the change to Blade Finesse, and we'll be on our way to making Bladedancer good.

Is the best I can squeeze out of the rogue calling. 5-25 energy after I kill one of the mobs I'm fighting is really good when I'm energy starved.

EDIT: It really speeds up the kills when farming. You should really try it.

BD changes are interesting and might make 51 BD into a decent build. The big thing there is the armor piercing. It also gives an option to take BD as a supporting soul instead of for example MM since the bonuses are quite similar, however the BD bonuses are still significantly weaker for the first 15 points into the soul.
+5% damage, +25% AP and 25% armor piercing vs +25% AP contribution to builders and finishers (not poisons etc) and 15% armor piercing. It does however provide a gap closer and an interrupt but unless you really need those then it won't be that good of a choice. And like many others I'm still hoping to see deadly dance to proc from all BD finishers instead of just deadly strike.

Not really excited about the ranger changes. The problem with ranger is the lack of scaling with gear and these don't fix that at all. It just totally lacks all the nice +AP contribution perks that are pretty much required to push decent dps now. My suggestion would be to rework Doubleshot and Master Huntsman to provide that scaling.

Any chance you guys are thinking about Making Turn the Tide useful in PvE? LIkeing changing it to on crit instead of dodge/parry.

    My solo spec ^

Gambiit introduced it to me, he has Arkyron's Mirror, but it works great for me with Song of the Lost Souls.

Works pretty well, especially for soloing rifts on EI, able to pull whole packs with little to no trouble, dont even use have to use the defensive cooldowns much, if at all

Very excited to be getting some attention, but i really don't think the proposed changes to Bladedancer are going to be enough to make anyone use it over NB and Bloodstalker. Its just that the proposed changes look like they will do very little with regard to ST DPS improvement for a build that is already a pain to run anyway because of having to rotate rhythmics and currently does so little damage that it isn't even worth having around.

Many of us would love a reason to play Bladedancer, but i just don't think the minor changes presented will be good enough to give us that reason. Thank you for letting us know you are working on it though.

is there any way to give our weapon coating procs the ability to crit? boosting their damage is nice, but i think it would be even better if you just instead allowed them to crit.

the ranger changes seem very interesting will be nice to see how they work out, a suggestion though is to do something with diffuse, that high into the ranger tree you don't want to have your pet die so there is no reason to dump your damage onto your pet. I have had an idea of changing it to 51 and putting feral aggression down to 44, and turning diffuse into something that summons another pet for X duration, or maybe even multiple pets like a pack of wolves, similiar to what ele has from mages.

Only different by a couple points. I used it before they let us use the mirror. Now when I pull big groups or need heals I just switch to guardian phase and use stalker phase when I'm only fighting 1-4 mobs for the extra dmg.

I've used both and like mine better. It's a preference thing though for the most part as long as you have 13 bd 13 rs and 24 sin you are fine.

I like the ranger changes but anychance to make the 51p ability affect the ranger and the pet instead of just the pet? Also, for the 44p ability since our pet does not take damage so well, anyway to make it so when we use diffuse it transfers to our pet and reduces our pet damage intake by 50% or something?
Sometimes it seems when we use this it just kills our pet, and there important part of the tree. Even like when used it transfers to the pet, and it heals the pet for 100% of the damage the pet does for those seconds were diffused?

I wanted to ask also, the changes to the 51p ability does that mean it will still be blocked from fear and such or will that be erased?

0 AoE dps changes. 0 PA changes.

Sorry, I'm not excited. If neither of the above are changed, you are wasting your time on this "update".....

    Interesting changes..but!

    BD changes:

Kinda interesting, can see that everything is heading towards making AP scale better since you totally failed with AP scaling at the start, good movement there..

But! 17 Assassin is still too strong, until you fix that, any changes are pointless, welcome but pointless.

Then again, need to see the full scaling of the abilities compared with other combinations.

Still doesnt fix the fact that most BD talents are useless up in the tree and that BD is based off cooldowns.

    Ranger changes:

Very interesting, need to see the full change on PTS, but in reality..

Band aid, need the pet to scale from the Rogue more and properly so it wont need a change with every new gear tier, smarter movement on it so it doesnt run around like a ****** on some fights.

    Assassin:

More damage on poisons, stalker spec more OP after EW fix, gonna have a broken spec here >_>

    NB:

Lets see the contribution first, but i think i will get disappointed D;.

Step in the right direction, but pets scale poorly in raids............

Feral Aggression: Increases Crit Hit chance and also pet damage by 100% for 15 seconds. Cooldown is reduced from 2 mins to 1 min.

100% boost to pets crap damage, is still going to equal crap damage.

Pin Down: Cooldown is reduced from 3 mins to 1 min. - Completely useless skill - should be removed IMO

Diffuse: Cooldown is reduced from 3 mins to 1 min. - Completely useless skill - should be removed IMO.
My thoughts in red. Hope more are in the works.
