What a great idea. In the spirit of this thread, here is my contribution:
Infinity Shot: Fire an arrow straight up and away from the planet, into a gravity slingshot around the sun, causing it to accelerate beyond the speed of light and back in time before returning to earth to kill the unborn fetus of your current target. This creates an alternate timeline in which your current target does not exist, but has no effect on the current timeline or the battle, and is therefore useless. Awards 1 combo point in the alternate timeline.

New Ability: Arrow of ****estorm
Is not affected by the global cooldown, fires an arrow that kills every enemy within a 100000mile radius. For every 1000 damage done, it adds a stacking buff of 10,000 health to the rogue. This ability has a 4.23 second cooldown.

Well to be honest I like to see a trap arrow. That allows a person to launch a sab trap at a preselected range. That would be cool.
As a ammo buff. The coolest thing ever is a arrow that freezes you solid for 15 sec. Have it porc. Make sure it cant be used in fan out. That way it’s not over powered in pvp.
Anther ammo buff would be darkening death. This is a curse ammo that reduces the target attack and spell power by 5%. Yea I like to see this on an mm.
Finisher called true shot. It’s a range finisher that hits more than one target with flame damage. Fan out and light fury is good. But a nice range finisher to hit more than one target would be great.
The last thing I think would be great for mm. Is an increase to general dps by 10%. The abilities just need a little bump. This would go a long way.

Flaming Shot:
The Marksman fires an shot that does a random amount of damage based off the day of the week and the current patch number. Concurrent to the shot being fired a post is made on the boards complaining about class imbalance, Calling for a dev response, posting parses and crunched numbers, or just making fun of someone's sig. Only generates a combo point if the Marksman already has max combo points.
Ancestral Recoil:
Fires a shot that goes back in time and kills the targets grandfather forcing the character to re-roll. 1 min cooldown.
PvP only of course.

This is a good idea, and i have seem similar things implemented in other games. Why? Well it's logical, a ranged attack hurts more at pointblank than 100m away, and also, it gives range classes a chance when they have a warrior hacking their face off. Damage output might need to be balanced a little, MMs tend to destroy anything in cloth or leather, and get rolled by the more sturdy of opponents. Yes they recently got an armor pen buff, but i haven't gotten a good chance to test it in pvp, and it kind of widens the gap of good targets for a MM. (Helps some with chain/plate, but gives you 500+ dps on the squishies)
Besides making Crossfire useful for something other than annoying your melee and tanks, MM is fine.
