lol the melee ranger scales better with raid buffs than any bd build because it literally has 0 buffs and does mostly bleeds. and spotters order gives a bigger bonus to bleeds than any other ability you can do. so if melee ranger is doing 1200 on dummy that is 1700+ on plutonis.

Sab/sin/rng is parsing @900 on the dummy self buffed and minus the whetstones people seem to want to skew their parses with for whatever reason.
I've seen some significant deviation, as low as 865 and as high as 930 over two minute parses. RNG crits and a shorter parsing session to blame, I'm sure, but I don't have the patience to flog the dummy for 5 mins.

There's a broken spec right now, but this guy is just full of it.
It is all about play style, and NB spec will shine in fights that wreck the melee'ness of the BD/sin spec.
2 min is not an accurate parser, it usually goes up extra 50 dps from 2 to 3 min for me. And yeah! guys stop parsing with stones lol.
i parsed over 1k with 12dps stones as Sab/sin/rng
2 pieces T2.... some t1s.... and some t2 blues
34 and 29 dps weapons.
sadly they make me tank most of the time, so its possible to go even higher with better dps gear

I too would like to see some parses and a build outline for this. So far all I'm hearing is chatter. Like I could post Bard/RS/Sabo build doing 2k +, but without proof I'm just blowing smoke lol.
I've got the same gear and pulled 1338 on Duke as melee ranger. I have yet to see a parse of a BD actually do well outside of the PTR(perfect gear) and in a raid. We ****ing wiped on Johlen all night because you know, we downed Greenscale two weeks ago, took last week off(mother's day:/) and then people ****ing forget how to play. RAGE!im diong the most it seems with melee ranger, swapping nb for bd makes a difference im finding. parsed 1200 on duke without aoe (our raid just blows him up) and that was in full t2 with t2 daggers.
cant wait to see what plutonis is like, died on infiltrator so no good parse therefkn hate that fight! and died on hylas so nothing there either. spore duty on oracle so lame as well...

and if melee ranger was pushing 1700 in 1.1 then it should push 2k now on plutonis. especially now that you can sub bd for nb for so much better scalability. im startting to think 1AP = 3+ crit with the new changes, really wish someone would do the numbers.

Keep in mind Johlen is a lot of RNG. We tend to have more deaths on Johlen than any other encounter in the game so far. If you get two blinding bombs on opposite sides with nowhere to run, bombs under you and wisps closing in, you're simply ****ed.I've got the same gear and pulled 1338 on Duke as melee ranger. After the changes of rotation when marksman is not as important as 1.1. Has someone tested a 34rng/17sin/15nb?
if you quit mm on your build you lose the pedestal (10%) and rapid fire shot, but you win a 15% dmg on finnisher, a 15% on cp builder, a 5% on hellfire blades and a 3% dmg (dead resistance, blablablaba..).
I have to test that build vs 31rng/17sin/18mm, but maybe it can do more dps than the classic 1.1 ranger build.

That wasn't what happened. 11/12 attempts(i was raging so hard I failed the last one) I was top DPS and the last person alive. The guild was playing like ****. I know a few people had some circumstances where they couldn't do anything, but at some point, they were doing something wrong.
Currently running Sin/BD/NB and parsing about 800 in T1/T2 gear with T2 daggers. Only weapon enchants + BD dex buff.
