Armor is irrelevant, cc's dr is fine if you aren't a pyrodom spamming squirrel to make them immune to squirrel/disarm/stun when you need it. If you're so worried about it breaking earlier, then put some points into not making it break early.

Heck, transmig blatantly ignores break free from time to time too.

Since most classes can easily give you healing debuffs (vamp munitions ftw), your survivability through healing is basically nullified. Sure warlock has neddra's that makes you nearly invulnerable to dmg for 7 seconds, but its on a 3 minute cooldown.. doesnt really help you for the other three minutes. The only damage mitigation from soul tree comes from elementalist, which is generally a waste to put points into after the 10 for crit chance and dmg reduction since the pets do nothing and the soul has no synergy with the rest of any souls, and really doesnt give you anything for pvp except for a root that breaks on damage, and a shield that absorbs less than any 1 attack from an opponent, making it a waste of a gcd.

Both of the classes you listed are basically made to tickle and annoy. Without a 51 chloro you dont even have a castable heal and your veil has poor returns, leaving you with only bloom, flourish and wild growth to keep you and your friends alive. Thats a pretty weak toolkit. Warlock is really more like a tickle if you're not at least deep enough to get defile and some part of void decimation, but even then you're dot reliant and the majority of your damage can get cleansed off, not to mention that you can't do nearly as much damage as a 51 warlock with empowered darkness. But with any 51 soul combination you cant even get fourish. (just to make the note, DOL comes from only 6 points into justicar and has no cooldown)

Ill give it to you that dom can be great for pvp, it has some decent options for control and a little bit of group damage, but is still based on gimping healers and casters more than warriors and rogues, which are dealing the majority of the damage in a warfront due mainly to the fact that they can bring a max dps spec into a warfront, while mages are pretty much restricted to bringing a 51 pyro in for damage (see how far you get bringing in your defilemancer, getting your dots cleansed off and taking a minute on the same target to reach max output)

Armor isnt totally irrelevent, a warrior has roughly 2x the physical dmg mitigation that a mage has. This is important since the classes currently tearing mages up the most are warriors and rogues that deal primarily physical damage, albeit some abilities deal additional elemental damage. It still does make a difference.

The squirrel's break on damage only works if they are above 85% health, and only if you're specc'd deep into dominator.

Warriors have about 10-12% more mitigation via armor than mages do in PvP. That's it.

The only class that actually hits with physical damage is rogue. Warriors are hitting you, besides their on-crit ogcd attack called Frenzied Strike, with elemental damage. Usually fire, water or air. Unless they're using 51 champion. In which case if they're hitting you at all, you deserve to die.

With regards to the rest of your statement, you're making mages seem a lot worse than they really are. The only time a mage has difficulties is in tiny arenas like BG or Lib with premade 5v5s or something. Or chloro. Chloro sucks in pvp outside of chlorodom, which is overpowered 1v1.

I can make every class in the game seem like the most overpowered / most underpowered just by using bad arguments, just as you're doing with the mage.

The fact of the matter is that every class is largely fine, every class has "OP" specs, and every class can be gimp if the person behind it refuses to learn how to play their class well.
