PVP: Quit a long time ago... Chlorolock is even more tanky now like unkillable clerics but we have no burst in 51 specs due to the loss of the AM tree. Also being a hardcore PVEer I'm not spending my PA in the PvP tree until I have filled all 6 elements to full PA t2 (which is a while to go) so thats a self nerf of sort.

You should invest in Break Free reduced cooldown in War PA Tree. Super useful in PVE!

I noticed that my DPS increased over the weekend to nearly what it was in 1.6...but it was PATHETIC before that.

I unsubbed.

I will NOT resub, because I am still pretty annoyed at the massive, sweeping changes Trion does, without testing, without getting feedback from the PTS players, before implementing it.

Is it REALLY necessary to give huge nerfs and buffs every update, creating FOTM classes, and then nerfing those classes in the next update?

Why can't we just make incremental adjustments to work toward a well balanced and stable class relationship in PVP?

It annoys me that so much work and thought is put into new PVE content, but PVP content is just like a giant experiment every month....just when it seems to be close to perfect, here comes another massive, over-reaching buff to some class and massive nerf to another....which they spend the rest of the month fixing...

Getting pretty tired of it, because it's not necessary. Work toward a stable, balanced PVP game...not each month creating new imbalances to fix, and pretend that is real development for the PVP community.

I have unsubbed too! Don't expect to get any understanding from much of the community in here. The most of the Real PvP players have already left for other games and those very few of us that are left are in game most of the time.

Lucky for us GW2 is coming, and i really hope those that trying to sound pro half the time in this community ( but when seen in the acual game, they suuuck so hard) stays in Rift, beacouse from what ive seen it will only go worse. (I really don't want them to start the QQ train and couse inballances in GW2 too, wich they will if the follow there).

Trion should had made better testing before buffing and nerfing all the time, the mage calling has been left out and the people here don't understand this yet. Most of them have no clue whatsoever what a MAGE are suppose to do.

Almost every mage i met online say Rogue is owerpowered and that our ability to CC and control the fights are broken, and that are dmg are low. the people who think different are idiots, simple as that.

I was to inlove with the mechanics in this game to unsub before, the acual "playstyle" is very nice the PvE content is also VERY nice.
The PvP is still crap lots of overbuffing and nerfing cycles all the time it never gets better same crap all over again, and their acual testing is horrible before realeasing patches. I was really hoping that trion would implement some new PvP content wich we neeeeeed this patch but... NO
Still same crappy warfronts and crappy world PvP with no points in doing it more then for the PvP daily quests wich also sucks.
Maybe in a year this game have become good enough i dunno, until then i stay unsubbed like lots of players who also have had it along time ago.

And Pyro/Dom is Borrring, you must really be high on drugs to think it are fun to play that spec more then a week. For a Mage PvP is indeed Borring and we are underpowered, even if they would buff mages to oblivion i wouldn't sub again. I have 28 days left and i guess taking some drugs maybe will make it fun playing until it runs out, who knows, who cares.

My account is good until the beginning of April, so I am playing it out.

Having said this, there was a MAJOR stealth nerf of mages with 1.7.

Sometime this past weekend it was corrected. People are once again exploding before my eyes, as they should with an 1800 SP full Pyro.

I am still entirely unhappy with the way Trion manages class manipulations for PVP.

Good enough for me to split in April.

lol it's true but. i sussed out the mage gear between epics and relic - oh epics have more endurance what? really?? and the 1 - 2 spell power bonus hardly makes it worth spending dkp or your loot rotation on a hexed. good to see darkling skull is still better than every drop from HK for mages lol. i got an epic in hk other day, the pants for mages i can't remember the name i vendored them after i got a item with the exact same spell power as the hk drop from MCR? then to discover my p8 pants are BiS ? for PvE and PvP. lmao. priorities peoples priorities. last time i checked pvp gear was for pvp, and pve was for pve. not pvp > all.
