    Default 51 dominator

    Hello guys, I know with the recent changes CC was pretty much screwed up but I still wonder about full dominator build. Can anyone suggest decent secondary souls that complement the 51 dominator? I am not that big of a pvp-er so I thought I should ask for advice.

    Warlock. Your most powerful abilities need Charge, and Warlock gives you more of that.

    well stormcaller was a great combination pre patch.... great air dmg synergy, dmg and aoe boost, melee based cc (roots, snares, knockbacks), kiting, quick thinking procs... i'm not sure about 51 pt dom, as i was using 38
    Its still I think a great combination relative to others for a medium-high point dominator but the overabundance of usable cc is kinda sad.

    Warlock is a really good one, if not overdone.

    I've actually been playing around with a full Dom build with the rest into Archon. It's doing better than I had expected. It's one of those self-sacrificing builds who's effectiveness reflects your teammates. Good team = good build. Bad team = you're dead (and useless). Honestly though, Warlock is probably a safer route.

    well warlock as a 15pt secondary... it would be good for mana, health and charge, and the life touch and dark touch dot, but I don't see this as an ideal secondary imo-
    fear and wither really conflict post patch with viable cc in situational uses except on second targets, opportunity is nice but between quick thinking, swift control and dom's abundance of lower cast time spells probably wasted. The dots gain effectiveness over long durations and dominator really lacks tools to prolong the fight that long.

    sc might not be ideal either, but I think it adds more at 15 points-
    critical hit of air spells by 10% and dmg of air spells by 5% and mana reduction of air spells by 20% (that help with storm shackle, mental shock, which i think get used a lot post patch).
    Dmg reduction (icy vortex) but it conflicts with movement cc, an aoe dmg spells (forked lightning) to help captalize on arresting presence periods in group, more burst dmg- lightning field, electrocute and raging storm, and two snares (1aoe) plus dmg and a long hitting knockback plus dmg (electrocute)

    Just my opinion though of course heh, I guess I've always been a dom/sc fangirl ^^
