Oddity with Ground of Power + item

Any pyro mage have the item "Necrotic Rage" (Planar Essence)? If you have this, and have Ground of Power, then when Necrotic Rage procs the flaming ground disappears. If I let Necrotic Rage wears off, the Ground of Power reappears on the ground. The Ground of Power buff never goes away from the buff bar so it'd still be there, just not visible.

BUT if I move before Necrotic Rage wears off, Ground of Power moves to my new location! This is an oddity where I could move in and have Ground of Power follow me without recasting them (minor mana saving and time saving exploit). I have submitted in game bug report but just in case it was just me, can any pyro mage with the Necrotic Rage check this?

The ground doesn't actually follow you, only the graphic does.

Well, yeah but it's still a bug when it follows when it shouldn't follow.

Yeah, absolutely. I have necrotic rage as well, and it makes that aspect of pyromancer very frustrating. I'm pretty sure it happens with all model changes too, not just necrotic rage; I remember it happening in silverwood with that boss who turned you into a flame elemental when he feared you. I hope that it's fixed soon.
