True the strongest variant will not provide Clinging Spirits. I agree that if possible, run w/ Fanaticism and 5/5 Castigation. I find that the potential DPS loss of each Inner Focus point will not make up for missed Jolt opportunities due to knockback on casts or Fanaticism's DPS gain over Inner Focus.
