This sounds like what would happen if another chloro overwrote your synthesis with thier own. You would still see synthesis on the player, you would still be in LBV, but your heals would go down drastically.

Could you get the build(s) (actual point spread) that were in use by the warrior tank?

I couldn't reproduce this using my ward/sent on a 44 reaver tank . . . is there something specific you have to do to trigger the reduction? I got them to spread some dots on dummies with binding of death on, but it didn't seem to bother the amount healed at all.

The tanking build of my warrior:
    http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=1c....tuqzhukAbk.-7

The healing build of my cleric:
    http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=10...xE0xotRoz.b.-7

What i did was having my warrior using all his buffs which include "Binding of Death". Then i let some one heal me with warden skills. Mostly Soothing Stream. I started looking at my combat log to see how much Soothing Stream is healing. Then i started using my DoT's on the dummy. They proced Binding of Death ofcourse. So i could see the debuff of Binding of Death on the dummy together with the DoT. And i checked my combatlog again to see how much healing i recieved.

I am on a pve Shard i dunno if something is affecting this, but maybe.

I will check my healing on a 44 Reaver myself and post results here.

Did a quick test tonight with my warrior tank and a guildies cleric (fresh 50).

My warrior - standard 38/20/8. His cleric, 20pts in warden for SS, no other pts spent.

Soothing streamx4 ticking on me for 560, and as soon as I apply necrotic wounds to a target dumby triggering binding of death it dropped to 355 per tick.

So whats the deal Zinbik?, no wonder wardens suck for PVE, this needs to be fixed.

I have a nasty feeling that sometimes even in pure pve enviroments, pvp nerfs can sometimes happen. In cleric PVP tree there is skill that allows your single target heals to heal an addition party or raid member. I see this all the time when raiding, noone pvp flagged on pve server. Only comes up at 1% or so healing done on parse. But it's only supposed to happen in pvp which is worrying. Also, was tanking mcr master mode on my warrior, noone was pvp flagged. Healer was dead on the underground worm guy, and i am HK geared 21khp was waiting for my hp to go super low then pop my full heal. I got to about 1%hp or so because he was just chipping my hp away and i played it a bit close. It only healed me to 75%, i think that it's been nerfed in pvp but still supposed to heal for full in pve.

I do not think this is the PVP healing debuff in action. Something else is happening behind the scenes here. Last I checked, Restorative Flame didn't heal for about 1200 to 1300, when it normally heals for 4200 to 4300. With the PVP healing passive-debuff, RF's healing output is NEVER reduced that much.

Tested this on PTS(images below) and the results were reproducible. The bug appears to be somewhat hit and miss when it happens or not (comparing live to PTS). I have added three screenshots from PTS detailing this little issue.

    Top combatlog: http://i.imgur.com/mCBbn.jpg
    Mid combatlog: http://i.imgur.com/i7nj0.jpg
    Low combatlog: http://i.imgur.com/7MXrH.jpg

    Build I used: 51 purifier, 15 sent, 0 warden.
    • Heals in the 9000s range are from Critical + EnfRej procs.
    • Heals in the 7000s range are normal critical hits.
    • Heals in the 2000s range are abnormal critical hits. With and without EnfRej active.
    • Heals in the 1000s range are when the 38 or 51 point ability is active on the warrior to the enemy mob.

Unrelated, the shielding applied to the warrior does not change - it remains as it would normally.

The following abilities on reaver can reproduce this bug:
    - 38 points; Binding of Death
    - 51 points; Flesh Rot

    does this affect non-Reaver builds?

Max mitigation spec might go back to WL/VK/Pal for a while until this is fixed.

I am using this spec for most content these days anyway, someone could crunch the numbers but I don't this it's far off in terms of overall mitigation

Unsure, didn't take the time to test it. The 38 and 51 pt reaver abilities appear to cause the bug however.

The main thing I noticed was the amount of plat you have.

    Default SS Confirmed and....

Tested a few different heals with my cleric, could not get Restorative Flame or Healing Invocation to produce the bug, Soothing Stream and Healing Spray, however, did.

Not all bad though, we tried it with Synth and it appears that it actually makes chloros heal for 15% more.

The mage was spamming void life, it seemed to affect both the initial and secondary heals.

I am far too lazy to give screenshot proof, I'll let others do that, but here are the numbers.

(I picked out the crits from the combat log, the chloro had no proc SP trinkets, wand etc, the crits were consistent until i cast Necrotic Wounds on the combat dummy)

    Without Binding:
    1403 + 935 = 2338

    With Binding:
    1614 + 1076 = 2690

Did trion increase pvp healing for chloros at some point? That would be in keeping with the false pvp flag theory.

Has anyone on a PVP shard tested this to confirm that it affects all shards and that being on a PVE or PVP shard makes no difference.

    CHLOROMANCER
    * Lifegiving Veil and Lifebound Veil: Healing in PvP increased by 15%.
    * Natural Conversion: Fixed a case where this could be consumed by an existing damage over time effect instead of on the next damaging spell cast.
    * Natural Healing: No longer affected by pushback while casting.
    * Withering Vine: Now instant cast. Increased duration to 16 seconds.

    Taken from 1.8 patch notes.
