And BTW I personally think the Tywl difficulty is out of proportion to the rest of the instance, it's difficulty level it's probably harder than Ituziel and maybe less than Laethys... maybe.
An approximate HPS value might be more useful to others? It's very subjective I know, either way you haven't really provided all the pertinent information with your assessment, no matter how accurate it may be

Twyl is an awesome fight and in keeping with 10 man tradition, Silgen anybody? I'd say his rewards are inline with his difficulty too, maybe nerf the plants a little but if you stack a bit of endurance it makes things smoother.

I too would like to see an ever-so-slight reduction on the plants HP in the final phase of Tyl's encounter. Otherwise, it's a pretty fun fight.

Twyl is fine and easy. You just need to be aware what's happening each phase. Too much of a problem for average player though. DPS requirement is fine aswell. You can't any have slackers on the highest tier 10man raid, just like it used to be in rotp.

huh? I was referring to their DoT not their HP. Didn't realise peope burned them down. The DoT can be brutal with an Aussie ping.

Agreed theres nothing worse than getting gibbed by lashing vines and chain lightning. God forbid you get rooted and your break free is down. Its a fun fight, but the last phase is a bit over tuned. Otherwise one of the best fights in the game. I for one would never go for a full clear with a pug group. Its just not happening.

Well you're entitled to your opinion but I doubt you'll find many people that agree, if you think it's easy you probably aren't healing it and you have the perfect raid composition.

Couldnt agree more. At minimum the chain lightning and plant spawn should not happen at the same time. Its nearly impossible to save someone that gets both. Even more so if they get rooted.

Twyl is the only reason to enter the instance, and the difficulty is right where it should be. Remove more the RP at the start, and decrease the lenght of P2 perhaps, and I'd have no issues with the encounter.

The balance of raid awareness, ST / AoE DPS, ST / AoE heals is something more fights should aspire to.
The fact that as a Warrior tank, this fight keeps me on my toes more than almost any other, well that's just gravy

This is another encounter also that make you feel really impotent if you're on Damage as a Cleric.

You can't really go melee because there's already probably going to be a few Warriors doing it, and if you go Inquisitor you get pushed back non-stop the whole fight.
