Well, I was just pottering around on Antonisa (frantically upgrading turrets and healing springs)
First from my pets forum I pull my old greater faerie model
Summon garden faerie
This faerie is an expert at using life based attacks involving slowing flowers.
Fae spores: The garden faerie launches a bolt of spores out of her staff doing 97 damage and healing the druid for 150% of the damage done.
Poisonous blooms: The faerie launches a bomb of seeds that instantly grow into flowers which eminate poison for 10 secs. Area of effect move.
Death orchid: The targetted enemy is incased in a giant orchid which holds them there for 5 seconds and also does 102 poison damage.
Vespid swarm: The garden faerie summons a swarm of enraged vespid gatherers who do 68 damage over 6 secs and also silences them.
I think this + allowing a greater faerie (current model and renamed to high faerie) could greatly improve druid. I feel that they could work as one, the high faerie gets the lovely:
Fae ward: Shields the cleric for 10 seconds for 10 hits, healing for 100% of the damage done by each. (cooldown 20 secs)
In this the druid gets a magic boost and much needed crowd control from the garden faerie for druids to work effectively. I think it would be really good if the high faerie was healing and putting up fae wards and healing efficiently while the garden faerie sends out swarms to that evil mage fireballing them and sprouting out a field of poison around the druid, poisoning all melee attackers.
I found from an old thread that is pretty much ancient history (another no one answers a perfectly good idea thread) that there could be a cabalist style system. The druid and pets all get revelry. For the druid it generates over time, for the greater faerie it generates through healing crits, for the satyr it generates through melee hits and for the garden faerie it generates every time she casts a crowd control attack.
You can have 4 levels of revelry, each level unlocks a different spell.
level 1 - Cheery (requires 1 revelry on the druid and pets): Spell - Life rush: The druid and their pet go into a state of speed, global cooldowns on the druid and satyr are halved and the cast time of all high faerie and garden faerie spells are halved for 20 secs.
level 2 - Festive (requires 2 revelry on the druid and pets): Spell - Gift of the fae: The druids pet/s stay alive after the druids death and will cast a 7 sec cast time respawn on the druid in an attempt to ressurect mid combat, also usable on other players while druid is alive. High faerie = 25% hp / Garden faerie = 20% hp / satyr = 10% hp / garden faerie + High faerie = 45% hp. Cancels if the druids pet/s die.
level 3 - Joyous (requires 3 revelry on the druid and pets): Spell - Fae blitz: The druid and pet fire a concentrated bomb of fae magic at the enemy, high + garden = 780 magical damage + 5 sec snare / satyr = 678 damage + 10 sec bleed and slow.
level 4 - Thrillingly devious (requires 4 revelry on the druid and pets): Spell - Faerie's benevolance: The druid is effected in a different way each pet for 10 secs: Garden faerie + High faerie = quick health and mana regeneration / satyr = 150% dps boost.
Each level of revelry ups a certain stat depending on which pet. High faerie gets healing boost. Garden faerie gets spell power boost. Satyr gets melee dps boost. Druid gets a random boost.
lv 1 = 20%
lv 2 = 30%
lv 3 = 40%
lv 4 = 50% all side effects of spells are also amplified by 50%
So that was my big idea! I hope you like it and please reply!![]()
