@Soul, you really don't need that macro for 10-man or lower content. AoE cleanses do the job every time. And you'll start to remember what icons are worth cleansing after a couple runs. That macro really is only good for Silgen, so you can perform all those mechanics and not stare at raid frames 90% of the time.

As far as it even working at <20 folks...no idea. I use the mouseover function of it or AoE cleanse anyway. Plus, say you are doing Sicaron. Hex goes out on 6 people. AoE cleanse hits all but 3(we'll call them Player A-C).Player A is the tank, Player B is running to drop a contract,Player C is resetting his router(for the sake of realism).

If you trust that macro, the person with @group01-20 will cleanse the tank. The person with @group20-01 will cleanse the guy calling his ISP. Meanwhile, Sicaron giggles as Player B headbutts the floor when Hex and the idol damage hit all at once.

Sometimes control is better than ease. So I honestly don't use it that much.

Hex is only 4 targets. We have our chloro cleanse 1 with his macro, and i cleanse the last three with my macro. On our alt run we just have 1 chloro do all 4 as pyro/chloro. The 1sec GCD is op

Wasn't really sure of the exact number of Hex's. I was just making up a example off the top of my head. But yeah, that 1 sec GCD is a little broken in terms of cleansing. But I'd still make anyone with a contract a priority for cleansing, and a spam macro doesn't think like that. But anyway, as I've mentioned before, 1.8 is gonna make Sicaron a joke.

I run my cleanse macro with

    Stopcasting
    cast Empowering Light

and then the silgen macro (back to front underneath it)

Can't put suppressmacrofailures in as it's too many lines.

And yes, in 10 man content the macro ignores group 20 to 11 and jumps straight into your group 10 to group 1.

It's not necessary at all in most encounters (Sicaron and Silgen are the only ones it's rly useful in) but it's not worth changing it out as it works for everything. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Regarding the recognition of what's cleansable and what's not, you'll get used to it with experience. You also learn the things that can be cleansed but don't have to be. If you're unsure on a particular encounter, just shout up, usually ppl are helpful and will impart their wisdom without any hassle - then you've only to worry about whether they're right or not.
