    Default 51 purifier build

I decided to change from the old one puri/sent build and focus on puri for tanking heal.but im pretty confused on what else to get with the rest of the points. My choices are pretty narrowed down to 2.

1)10 sent 5 cabalist(+5 sp,10% reduced cost of healing spells from sent and +5% sp from cabalist
    2)15 sent 0 templar(+5% sp,10% reduced cost,+5% effectiveness

What would u suggest and why?

p.s i will only raid with this build not do t2 or pvp or anything

I recently switched mine to 5 cab for two reasons.

One being the obvious one, that it increases your sp by 5%, thus helping every one of your shields.

The seconds reason I did it was because I found myself casting Healing Communion in raids, and as a purifier you should be able to trust your other healers. It's a waste of a cast casting communion even if it doesn't overheal, because someone else SHOULD be doing it.

I've only been in T2s so for, but I like to use some Warden. At least 10, for stacking HoTs behind the Shields to buy you time and to have a strong Healing Breath for when you need a quick topoff.
You could just do 10 Warden 5 Sentinel...

5% more heal is slightly better heals than 5%sp
5% sp is slightly better shields.

on the other hand if you go 15in sent you gain Ttl which is awesome for us since we dont have another way to decrease cast times, and we gain HC, which while it is aweful, it can still be used in a pinch if something happens and you need to raid heal asap.

My 51pur role is 10sen/5war. I absolutely love the 51pur except for the fact that there is little to no mobility with healing or AE healing. I have never used macros and seeing that this can help with 2-3sec cast spells to be made instant in a pinch.

5 war - gives me the extra mana increase. But i have NEVER had a mana problem in 51pur because of my 10 points in Sent. so rethinking this, its a total waste (to me at least). The upside was I got Healing Current and healing spray, though seemed minimal to me, but they are HOTs

10 sen - took it for Healing Breath and Endurance buff from Heroic Blessing. Also in the tree 5 points for increase healing effectivness by 5% and reduce mana for healing by 10%.

If you are interested in raiding only as you said, completely forget the 51 Purifier build. Stick with the classic 3x/3x Sent/Pur builds, until you reach Lord Greenscale.

There, you would want 1 person to go 51 Purifier, and I would advise to get 15 in Sentinel:
    http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=10Gj_.EgkEItdqz.E0x

    for
    a) TtL, b) +20% crit heals

You don't need the -10% mana reduction. Even if you spent 10 points there, you would get 5/5 Benediction and 5/5 Watchful Gaze.

    Offspec: 34/32 (Pur/Sent)

Not for tank-heavy fights such as Lord Greenscale, where the tank is having a 75% healing debuff and Greenscale uses his fumes. Then you need bigass shields and huge heals. Good luck with only running 3x/3x on LGS ^^

I tried 51 puri on LGS due to recommendations posted in these forums, and really hated it due to the slow heals. I went back to 34/32 and it felt like the healing went much smoother. Faster cast times when you need them gives more shields anyway, and the cooldowns on some of the 51 puri skills meant that they weren't always useful during the fight. It's a very slow healing build too, so the movement was trickier if the off-tank didn't clear the plants around you on time.

So I don't really agree with people who say you want a 51 puri for Lord Greenscale (and this seems to be the only fight they say it's needed) - just casing a shield on the tank before the Breathe hits is more than enough, and available every time.
