Jopok's RB Champ variant (with VK)

I've had several people ask me about my build so here it is. I was running ragestorm in 1.8, but as hard as rift storm is currently hitting I found it hard not to spec into it. Enjoy it while it lasts.

i like the dispell you get with this version. does rav strength do more damage than the 10% in paly? the endurance buff is really what sells me on paladin.. i stack endurance on my gear heh. learned that from locx :P

let me know if you have time to test paly vs VK on a dummy.. i'd like to know what does more dmg.

also never macro your bursts together dude :P some are better for different situations. only ones i'd ever macro are storm/earth since the snare from earth is never something i use as a first debuff

^ i wouldn't macro all the bursts together either. personal preference or playstyle i guess. im still currently using the 38/28 but thought about going into vk as well. i just love rift strike ST

@ lameboi - does the endurance stacking on gear far outweigh the valor runes?

i use valor runes where i can, but if i dont have the rep i just use endurance.

i was talking more about stacking end as much as possible in essences, seals, and runes wherever i cant afford valor. also, like trinket wise, i choose +30 end +1250 absorb shield rather than using the +50 valor trinket from the eye rep.

i run around in dps specs with 9kish hp, in my s/b build i run with 11kish hp and do some ridiculously fast damage. couple that with the 5 minute paly heal (which is awesome btw) and the 1250 absorb trinket, stone shield and other cooldowns.. it's gonna be tough to bring you down. (end pot, end buff, end essences, etc what i mean when stacking endurance)

the poster child for stacking endurance is Locx.. you find me a warrior that can beat him consistently 1v1 and i'll buy them a month of rift :P

ah cool deal, im just shy of 9k in my 2h dps but if i swap my seal and trinket ill break 9k.

hahhah locx is a beast, ive run into him a few times stupid amount of hp for a mage. ive beat him a few times in wf's or open world but nowhere near consistently. does that qualify for 15 days of free rift?

i really think he's the best mage in rift from my past experience (1.4/1.5) dueling him outside of sanc.

I agree with you in the situational burst affects. However, I use those bursts, in that order, purely for st. Since earth and storm hit harder, I always use them first. I also run out of macro slots, so I use that macro for some pve builds too, hence that particular order. I'll get on a dummy sometime to parse, but tbh I never parse pvp builds because I don't look at it as higher dps or lower dps.

I def miss the goodies from VK, but I'm having a hard time specing out of my RB/Para variant.
If I've learned anything it's that mobility offers the best clutch survivability, and RB/Para has it in spades. What I wouldn't give to have our old spellbreaker back tho ...

i have some ideas for this spec im gonna try out this weekend.

the vk just may be better than paly. that dispell is too nice.

actually, nevermind. i just realized the utlitity i gain with paly.

the heal, or the dispell, i prefer the heal, although vk is an awesome alternative. diff strokes i guess
