on the void knight spec, do pacts keep building even when you hit 10? will they keep triggering surge or do i have to use them up?

yes they keep building up and proc surge, you can just never have more than 10 pacts.

Pact Conversion is off the global cooldown and doesn't require a target.

No, very much no. You cannot just take a spec and macros and expect to tank. It takes time and practice, and awareness.

Somewhere in that guide I read that you need to use the finisher to keep the warlord crystal up, but I just use my calls with one attack point to activate the crystal.

Devouring blow only provides pacts if the target has mana. Also as the previous poster said, it's off gcd.

I understand that much, I will be starting off in experts. The macros seem to have all the taunting ability needed other than the single target taunt from Warlord I believe.

Not sure what to do if I can't just jump in and learn with it.

yea but your losing the bonus from using the Call itself by activating it for minimal time

IIRC you can use CtB with 1 pt to refresh the crystal and not overwrite motifs. Unless you're worried about losing that AP!

well you lose the AP, but you also limit the CtE buff on your self
