1. Introduction
Since 1.8 is only a few days/weeks away and the changes to the warrior class are more or less final, i present you a guide for most of the relevant builds, that have been created in the 350 Pages long thread.
Note: This guide is meant for people who have a basic knowledge of the warrior class as i wont go into details of each specc.
First and foremost there is no "best" build. The builds are so close in their DPS Potential, that you can actually choose the play style that fits you. For Min/Max'ers the build you want to use depends heavily on the encounter and/or the weapons you have available.
Obviously with the fix to our AP scaling, the value of AP has risen, exact AP:Crit ratios concerning statweight are dependent on your gear so dont ask for them. (Maybe Ferboten will create a calculator in the future :P). But if you just use a 2 Crit = 1 AP ratio you probably wont do anything wrong.
2. Builds
2.1 51 Champion / 13 Riftblade / 2 Beastmaster (Beastmaster Crystal/2H)
Specc: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0c...udz.M.eM00z.-5
The two unspent points go into Scald which is the replacement talent for improved freeze armor.
This specc has the highest singletarget DPS of all 2h Speccs, its AoE capabilities are exceptional if you play it with the champion crystal.
Selfbuffs: Destroyers Bearing, Stormblade, Avatar of the Wind

Rotation:
If Cornered Beast is ready up you use this rotation:
(starts with one attackpoint)
Disruptive Strike -> Tearing Slash
Fierce Strike -> Fierce Strike -> Cornered Beast
Fierce Strike -> Fierce Strike -> Fiery Burst
following into:
(starts with one attackpoint)
Disruptive Strike -> Tearing Slash
Fierce Strike -> Fierce Strike -> Earth OR Icy burst (only press the macro ONCE!)
Fierce Strike -> Fierce Strike -> Fiery Burst
Fierce Strike -> Fierce Strike -> Earth OR Icy burst (only press the macro ONCE!)
(repeat until Cornered beast is up again)
As mentioned it's important to only press the EB/IB Macro once, otherwise you will use the attackpoint generated by Earth Burst for a single AP Icy Burst. If you are a buttonmasher you should probably weave in Earth Burst with an extra Button.
If you lack the 4 PC Crystal Bonus or are playing with the Champion Crystal due to AoE, swap Fierce strike for Power Strike.
2.2 51 Champion / 9 Paragon / 6 Riftblade (Champion Crystal/2H)
Specc: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0c...rGudz.VL.xz.-5
Highly flexible specc with quite strong singletarget and good AoE damage. Not really worth using anymore, due to 51/13/2 doing more AoE and ST damage.
Selfbuffs: Destroyers Bearing, Stormblade, Way of the River
Makros:
#show Disruptive Strike
suppressmacrofailures
cast Disruptive Strike
cast Flamespear
cast Frenzied Strike
cast Inescapable Fury
cast Turn the Blade
#show Power Strike

#show Fiery burst

cast Inescapable Fury
cast Turn the Blade
Rotation:
(starts with one attackpoint)
Disruptive Strike -> Fiery Burst
Power Strike -> Power Strike -> Bladefury
Power Strike -> Power Strike -> Bladefury
(repeat)
Similar to 51/13/2 Cornered Beast is a DPS gain and is used with the following rotation when ready:
Disruptive Strike -> Fiery Burst
Power Strike -> Power Strike -> Cornered Beast
Power Strike -> Power Strike -> Bladefury
Titan's Strike seems to do higher damage than Bladefury in a Raid - personally i just have an extra keybind for it, because i want to be able to not use it when i'm not in a raid ;)
If you lack the 4 PC Crystal Bonus swap Bladefury for Titan Strike/Punishing Blow.
2.3 40 Champion / 26 Beastmaster/ 0 Riftblade (Beastmaster Crystal/2H)
Specc: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0c...udz.yVzbV0u.-5
You can shift around the fillers in Champ. Hit in BM was skilled because the talent changes in 1.8.
Strong singletarget and AoE Build, but dependent on the pet. Worth for one warrior per raid due to the raiddps gain of Enraged Companion.
Selfbuffs: Enraged Companion, Slayers Bearing, Stormblade

Rotation:

(repeat)
In a nutshell: 1 -> 1 -> 3 -> 2 -> 2 -> 2 -> 4
2.4 44 Paragon / 22 Champion / 0 Riftblade (Paragon Crystal/DW)
Specc: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0c...M..E0czV0ob.-5
Strong singletarget build especially with low support (10 man). Not recommended for AoE.

Makros:

Dual Strike -> Rising waterfall -> Strike Like Iron
Dual Strike -> Rising waterfall -> Frenzied Strike/Reaping Harvest
Dual Strike -> Rising waterfall -> Reaping Harvest/Frenzied Strike
Dual Strike -> Rising waterfall -> Strike Like Iron
(repeat)
Nothing to say here, good old 44/22 Rotation.
If you lack the 4 PC Crystal Bonus, don't play this build. ;D
2.5 38 Paragon / 22 Champion / 6 Riftblade (Paragon Crystal/DW)
Specc: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0c...xz.E0czV0ob.-5
This build scales better than 44/22 in a raid. Resulting DPS is around the same.
Selfbuffs: Path of the Wind, Stormblade, Slayers Bearing
Makros:

Dual Strike -> Rising waterfall -> Fiery Burst
Dual Strike -> Rising waterfall -> Frenzied Strike/Icy Burst

(repeat)
If you lack the 4 PC Crystal Bonus only use the Icy/Fiery rotations and ignore Shifting Blades
2.6 38 Riftblade / 28 Champion / 0 Void Knight (Riftblade Crystal/2H)
Specc: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0c....EhMzV0bhoz.-5
Very easy to play build with really high mobility (if played with Planar Blade). Mediocre AoE.
Also high survivability through Avatar of Water and Void.
Selfbuffs: Stormblade, Avatar of Water/Wind, Slayers Bearing, Void
Makros:
#show Rift Strike
suppressmacrofailures
cast Rift Strike
cast Frost Strike
cast Searing Strike
cast Frenzied Strike
#show Storm Burst

cast Earth Burst
cast Icy Burst

"Rotation": Builder Macro to 3 AP -> Finisher
Finisherpriority: Fiery Burst > Riftstorm > Burst Macro
2.7 51 Riftblade / 15 Paragon / 0 Void Knight (Riftblade Crystal/DW)
Specc: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0c...EGstdsrGdsR.-5
Pretty fun build with good ranged options though spears/PotW/PotR and bursts.
Selfbuffs: Avatar of the Rift, Stormblade, Way of the River, Void
Macros:
#show Rift Strike (1)
suppressmacrofailures
cast Rift Strike
cast Frost Strike
cast Searing Strike

cast Stonespear
#show Rising Waterfall (2)

Fiery Burst as a skill. (3)
#show Storm Burst
suppressmacrofailures
cast Storm Burst
cast Earth Burst
cast Icy Burst
cast Fiery Burst
cast Turn the Blade
Rotation:
Builder -> Followup -> Finisher
1 -> 2 -> 3
1 -> 2 -> 4
1 -> 2 -> 4
1 -> 2 -> 4
In my opionion its also worth to add Riftstorm if the following happens
First "4" is Storm Burst, Second "4" is Icy Burst and Earth Burst is still on cooldown (happens every ~40 secs)
3. Comparison
The builds have been compared with the following buffs/gear:
Best in Slot T2 Raidgear
Golem Inductor
Legendary T2 Weapons (Spine/Str Sword)
Weaponstones, AP Food, 40 Dex/Str Flask, Tablet
Full Planar Attunement and Str Seal
Which delivers:
1122 Crit/1309 AP for DW
1115 Crit/1294 AP for 2h (+50 AP 2h Procc)
2.1 http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/88/champbm.png/ (3063 DPS)
2.2 http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/259/champpara.png/ (3012 DPS)
2.3 http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/545/80282812.png/ (Here my parser didn't add my pet, with it the specc is at 2960 DPS)
2.4 http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/19/44para.png/ (3103 DPS)
2.5 http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/190/38para.png/ (3005 DPS)
2.6 http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/577/rbchamp.png/ (2950 DPS)
2.7 http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images...1rb15para.png/ (2964 DPS)
For pure singletarget fights you should choose either 2.1 or 2.5 depending on your weapons.
If the fight features any kind of AoE go for 2.1 it has the best AoE damage and highly competitive singletarget with champ crystal. (Around 8k DPS on 3 dummys)
For fights where you can't melee for long amounts of time - 2.7 looks like a really nice option, though its AoE is very limited.
And last but not least if there is a fight which involves lots and lots of running (like Garau for example), or you are an inexperienced warrior which is looking for an easy specc, go for 2.6. or 2.7 with planar blade.
For questions, suggestions and mistakes on my part contact me either via thread, pm or on the shard Brutwacht (EU-DE). (Characternames: Azune, Meeya, Lyssandore, Saku)
