It's 2 separate hits. The initial hit won't change with the number of pacts, but the second hit will increase.

Thx that really did clarify some stuff.

And btw, it also revealed a bug, if you remove the void stacks you still benefit from them when using ragestorm, which was what i did before testing the initia damage.

So if you have 10 stacks and an opponent removes them you still get full damage until the initial stacks time limit has run out.

I like this build. Have been playing it solely on WF's from R1-4 and sure, i dont kill squat. BUT im an annoying wasp in the casters eye with my AoE silences. Fusion of the Flesh allows me to survive long enough, i usually draw most of the focus fire on me and my other teammates are free to bash away.

This builds works even better when your grouping and coordinating with a few friends. I love pulling ppl across gaps where they think they are safe ^^!

    Cheers!

This build will, with even gear, destroy any Sin or NB Rogue build. It's not even a question about it.

It'll spank any Dom hybrid in an admittedly longer fight (barring a bug). It'll force a stalemate with Chlorolocks. But it won't do anything against pure heal Clerics. You're going to have to just sit there and spam Shock Burst on them in WFs.

    Two things:

    1) Serpent Strike is the only magical damage in a pure Sin build that can proc Fusion of Flesh. It is a reactive that has a 6 second timer. That means you're going to want to activate Fusion of Flesh around the 30-40% mark as opposed to the 10-20% mark in 1.4. Sins burn rate is significantly faster now and 6 seconds is a long time for another 20% heal proc.

    2) There is currently a bug with Warlock Armor. Please report it. Please make threads and send feedback to the GMs. Any Mage who knows about this bug and recognizes the FoF Icon can sit there and kite you, absolutely doing nothing. What happens is that if YOU hit him, it'll proc Warlock Armor and consume a charge of FoF without healing you. As it stands, it is very, very difficult to beat some Lock build if they know about the bug. I might even go as far as saying impossible.

I've went back to ragestorm. I use snb/2h with it now that I've gotten r8 1h and shield in like a day of this free favor explosion. I haven't tried this one with shield yet, however.

Gave this spec a shot this weekend. My overall impression is, too much tank, not enough spank.

I'm sure the eleventyhundred Marksmen on the opposing teams had something to do with it, but I just didn't notice an improvement in survivability and it didn't seem like I was putting out enough damage to be a threat.

    Went back to Ragestorm.

Just alittle clip of what this build can do. Obviously the video isn't perfect at showing a true awe-inspiring scene worth of being enshrined in the Rift Hall of Game, and I made a few mistakes here and there that are glaring after looking at it a few times. But with the gear (and some consumables), you can really stand your own soloing in the world. I probably wouldn't have lasted this long in the typical 2H spec, much less a pally based SnB.

Holy crap Puzzlebox, you're a boss. By the 1:10 mark when you still hadn't popped Fusion of Flesh I knew it was going to be epic If anyone doubted this build before.. You should definitely witness this. I've had similar experiences, usually in Codex while guarding the Vault ... but not quite at this level, he's a machine.

Yeah, and the thing is, with this build, scenes like this are fairly consistent. I just always forget to record my roamings around. Only times I just have to kite them halfway across the map to safety is if there is a geared healer healing someone that hits like a truck. Can't take down a geared healer with 1-3 DPS punching you in the face, you have to spend too much time mana draining/locking them down. A MM sitting at 35 range and doing nothing but spam purge while I'm fighting a few guys will ruin me too.

But it's world pvp, it can't be helped.

By the way, it's not the worst thing in the world if someone does purge you. Buff typically are purged from oldest to newest. So if you get purged somehow when you have some RD/RS, you actually have a huge purge GCD buffer of those 10 stacks to bury your buffs behind.

Right. I keep my buffs hotkeyed and easy to reach, since I only use three buffs it is not a huge deal to dip behind some cover and re-apply them. And Avatar of Water is not as must-have as Void and Planar Blade, so you can really get away with just one or two.

Every spellbreaker nets you 100-200 health, every spell sunder gets another 171 health, etc. By the end of a WF match I will have sometimes healed about 10k health, and while a lot of that comes from Fusion of Flesh, Replenish is still doing some good.

The main reason to get Replenish is that there are no better talents to invest in at that point, and this one does give you a little extra survivability. I haven't done the math, but it's probably something like 1%-5% health against a magic user.
Nock, i have been using this/your build with some minor tweaks and love it for the most part.

I was 43 Pal/23VK/0 WL as a PvP mage interupt and rogue killer. Most cases I would drain the healer or chloro of mana and last long enough to beat them down. Now post patch, its useless..the interupt damage being nerfed etc.

With your Build and tweaks 38 VK/28 RB/0 WL i have been having a blast against most rogues/healers and casters. The only diff is i put 2 pts into rift summon (important on the MM's). I took one from elem deflect and eff-conversion. I have been having a blast with it...especially when i have a healer with me.

Glad you're having fun! And don't forget that Planar Blade will reset the cast time on your Rift Summon - that's why I didn't put the two points into it on my build. However, if you find you aren't critting often enough, or people aren't giving you a chance to crit (the entire team is hiding behind the Codex ledge, for instance) then I can see why you'd want to use it.

Shockburst is a major FU in Library. People run around powerless. IT'S GREAT!
