The goal of this build is simple, effective burst damage. Picking up instant squirrel -> cast speed buff from the dominator soul, then dumping the rest of your points into Pyromancer to maximize its basic abilities.
Build: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0z...gscbuusqsqz.-5or http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0z...xscbuusqsqz.-5 putting 2 more points in dom for better storm shackleNow I know what your thinking.. OMG just another couple points and you can get split personalities, the most OP mage ability evar!! ... and then just one more point for transference, and one more point for TI.. and so on.. Listen.. unless your name is bleeds, I would highly recommend not going that deep. With the cast speed buff, and a 1 sec GCD, it can become difficult to maintain full battlefield awareness if you start to make things too complicated.
Maximizing the cast speed buff, and the 1 sec GCD is the most important aspect of this build.
For this reason, once again unless your name is bleeds, it would be wise to try out some of these macros. These are the macros I use to my preference.
#show flame bolt
suppressmacrofailures
cast inferno
cast flame bolt
cast countdown
cast thunder blast
cast neural prod
^ instant ability spam for finisher (there are different arguments whether to leave thunder blast and countdown off this macro, but this is my preference)
#show burning shield
suppressmacrofailures
cast burning shield
cast reflective command
cast @self deny
^ defensive preperation / oh crap button
#show deny
cast @self deny
#show backdraft
suppressmacrofailures
cast backdraft
cast firestorm
^ AOE.. usually cast back to back
#show incompetence
suppressmacrofailures
cast incompetence
cast accelerated decay
cast void shroud
^ Melee Debuff spam
#show void shroud
suppressmacrofailures
cast void shroud
cast accelerated decay
^ Caster Debuff spam
Basic Rotation: Squirrel -> storm shackle -> fireball x2 or 3 -> internalize charge -> (cinder proc) -> instant ability spam (if you think that will finish them off) or re-squirrel and restart rotation if they need another beating.
At R40, this should drop most average geared/skilled players very quickly. If they are above average gear/skill then debuffing may be necessary.
The only time I ever find myself using heat wave is if squirrel DRs are giving me trouble, or to double flicker out of danger.

I find it important to SPAM your abilities, ahead of the GCD refreshing. This helps avoid latency delays and maximizes use of a true 1 sec GCD.
Overall, I believe bleeds build (31/35 pyro/dom) has more potential, but this one facerolls easier.
