For experts it is extremely powerful. Assuming you don't have a cleric tank you drop your Righteous Mandate on the tank and AoE down each pull. You will want to count to 3 before you start casting soul drain on most cases else you will be the one that is tanking and not your tank. With mostly crafted and some t2 gear I can pull around 1600 dps and 400 hps on trash. This pretty much means the tank healer can just keep topping off the tank without burning off all their mana.

What this means is if your tank is confident, you're group can easily reach the rapid assault speeds of pulling a dungeon. I have had chloromancers complain that they weren't really necessary. And I have had a healer on some of the easier bosses die and still finish the encounter without them.

Many thanks to the OP and his follow up threads like page 21!!

I converted to this build @ lvl 28 on Fri, I am now 36. WOW! Great build, don't want to give it too much more accolades for fear of the epic nerfbat.

Followed build on page 21 of this thread, I tweaked the macro listed tehre a good bit, to include soem additional instant casts as I had more conviction procs than I could use unless I overpulled something. Literally went from 1-2 mobs at a time to 4-5 with ease, and killing all 4 faster than I killed 1 before! The Macro's are as much a key to this build as the spec, use them and enjoy! It is so nice running into an area and vex's 5 quest mobs, aoeing them down in 30sec and moving on the the next pack without rest. I foudn myself waiting on cooldowns between packs more than due to mana/hp. Any old w.o.w players, this is like Ret pali if WOTLK, grinding machine..

As mentioned, if you enter groups/rifts, whatch your Mein. I always run the tank one and in rifts usually just ended up telling the other tanks to DPS as there was no way they pulled agro from me once I was 1 run thru the macro. The build even pulled agro from tanks 4lvl higher than me if I have the tanking Mein up.. If your not ready to be the center of mob attention for 30meteres around you, change to the other one.

You should be running in instances with the one that provides more healing support regardless. In an instance the tanking mein shouldn't be doing anything for you.

Yeah your right there. I am not a big instance player, all my grouping is public group rifts, so I have not had to worry on it to much.

I broke my cleric somehow. I respec'd and changed my macro @ lvl36 per page 21 here and he plays completely different. Very glass cannon type of feel. Pulling 3 lvl 37 mobs now I am 50% health and mana before the 1st guy drops, and am having to pop my mana regen spells in my macro and agressivel heal to get thru. Previous to the respec I could pulled another guy and not dropped below 75%hp midfight, and only need to hit aggresive regen on last mob to end the fight 100% health.

I respec'd back to have the 4/5 mitigation in the justicar and it has helped a bit with the HP, but now I am trying to find out how to tweak my macro again for better mana retention.

    Default Chloro Synergy?

Could somebody please explain this a bit?

And does this mean that if you're in a 5man with a Chloro, you should mandate the chloro over the tank?

    Thanks!

Nah, you want to toss it up on the tank if your allowed. I was mistaken on how an ability of theirs worked. What it does do though if you don't have the ability to put yours on the tank is free up the chloro from having to figure out how to heal themselves and will proc their sacred heirloom of the eth if they own one.

Build should be pretty easy to update with the patch. You pretty much take exactly the same talents. The only difference is you get dodge and parry with that last point instead of just parry.

So, got a chance to use this in RoS last night. On Plutonous the Immortal I was running 1150 dps and 650 hps. At one of our runs I hit 1050 dps and 1000 hps. We are still working on him though.

    Default Questions...

    Hello all!

I am fairly new to RIFT coming over from WoW about 10 days ago... I played a ranged Rogue some and then decided on playing a Cleric....

This build looks great, but I don't have a clue on rotation gear...

I am lvl 23 not... How do I figure out the rotation... Do I use a H weapon and a shield, a 2H mace, or a staff?

    What attributes to I stack?

I know... noobsauce... but RIFT has a limited amount of data out being fairly new...

    Thank you in advance...

Are you using the same rotation as the OP? I'm only hitting max of about 1100 dps (max) on plutonus, if everything goes perfect, in the druid DPS build and this is significantly less dps than that.

Basically, somewhere in this thread should be a set of macros. That is your rotation when you hit 50. Since, a persons choice as they level is alittle dependant on the order you take your talent points. We cannot actually tell you how the macro should be adjusted for you without seeing your exact build at the time.

Instead you can choose to go up through the talent points in any order you want. Make two copies of the macro. On the primary copy of the macro toss in everything. On the secondary copy of the macro remove all abilities you don't have at that level. Then it should be hit the macro.

There should be one for AoE and one for single target. The macro system in this game is fall through macros. So, it will stop at the first ability that fires off. Therefore, you stack a bunch of items with cooldowns or require things like your opponent dodges/parries above your primary attack. It will use all the cooldown items first and default to your primary attack if all else fails.

Ok so as for gear, you want the best chain items you come across and the best 2-handed mace/maul with spell power on it.

You want the best "caster stats" since your casting stats directly convert to melee stats via "Faith In Action from Justicar/shaman.

You want a few things as far as your spec goes as you level, you want 14 points in Inquis for Soul Drain, 16 points in Shaman for Jolt, and 12 points in Justicar, then go from there.

Also, look into the macros on the original post of this thread as they do help, just get rid of the abilities you do not have yet and add them as you get them while leveling.

The new patch shouldn't change the build. I will be making a new thread in the near future though.

First let me start off by saying awesome build, been using it since
first post.. Now one question though, I know this build can handle more or less everything u
you can throw at it. But is there a build u can recommend for solo'in an elite
boss. I have all my rolls open and would like to use one of them for a Solo Elites build, and a healing build, just have to find a good healing build that will work with the same synergy your Duracell build has...
