Has anything changed with the melee (Justicar) build in the OP? I was just getting to a level milestone where I wanted to switch to a Justi build for leveling, but I haven't had time to sit down and decipher the changes.
Actually, I guess a better question is: do the 1.3 changes to Justicar corrupt the Build links at all? I notice that one of the level 50 builds has a point in Thorvin's Law, which is a brand new Tier 6 branch ability, and would not have existed when he made the OP. Since there's no editing allowed... ??
nothing they changed would effect AOE leveling. Thorvin only works with a shield so doesn't matter and all the core abilities are still there even though they changed devout it still is great for AOE grinding
didn't notice you were talking about the 38 justicar build... honestly i dont think you really need more than 23 for AOE grinding in justicar high shaman or high inq is going to be way faster killing than high justicar
Well, my actual question was whether or not the new and/or changed branches and Tiers affected the build URLs. Those build URLs are older and may point to skills that were moved, changed or added.
So I'm wondering if the t=00rad.Euz00ec.VV part of the URLs are still accurate on all of these pre-1.3 build links, especially the Souls that were changed to warrant a Respec.
Confirmed that the casting, melee and Justicar farming builds are all still viable and fun.
I have to say, I started playing Rift (though I was familiar with it beforehand) and I messed alot with my build, and got stuck at lvl 23 dying quite a bit. I have sifted through much info for cleric builds to try to solo up. (I'm trying to catch up with one I play with who is lvl 28)
I found this, respec'd, and FINALLY understood the massive power of vexing each pull, soul drain, etc as far as pulling 2-3 mobs. It's working out VERY well.
It took me some time to realize the potential, and I have to give kudo's to MANY threads out there that made me understand exactly how to play the -pull with vex on every mob I want to attack-soul drain- etc, but now I feel I'm not so much a newb.
Thanks for this build, I've tweaked it a bit, but fundamentally still the same.
Good luck all! Don't give up. Read and read some more on all the great info that fellow players have given us. I, for one, am probably going to try many of the builds, Duracell, etc, as I progress.
Big thumbs up for this thread, and the others!
--EDIT-- Oh! and the healing for Rift invasions is terribly nice! Far better then the single I had before. It's quite effective.
Now, I know about macros, and have set none up yet, haven't had to, but the info about them is something I will come back and search for eventually.

Quick question for anyone who wants to answer. But just wondering if the Duracell build is better 40+ or to stay the Shaman/Justicar build? Mainly for AoE grinding and instance(DPS/Support).
Thanks
I can't kill anything fast enough with this build: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=00rnd.Euz00ec.Vgd0zM
it takes sooooo much time. like around 70-80 seconds to kill 4 mobs. but this caster aoe build is very solid http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=00rnd.Euz00ec.Vgd0zM
I can kill 4 mobs in 30-40 seconds. there is a huge difference. but of course, caster is more fragile.

Hi, I just wanted to ask how viable this build is as a solo/questing build in addition to being an AoE leveling build. Can it still dish out the single target damage?
Thanks so much for this guide. Gonna check out some of the AOE caster builds when the shards are back upI've been using similar builds I found elsewhere, but hadn't considered Purifier and Justicar with my main Inquisitor soul blowing things up!
From my personal rift experience I find that an Inquis/sent/warden spec outshines all others for pure DPS in raids/T2s/etc.
However, in terms of pure AOE--I run an inquis/cab/sent spec. It provides MAXIMUM AOE dmg including larger AOE radius, harder hitting channeled and DOT spells (COO,Vex) and solid mitigation/healing via Dark Harbor and Healing breath/grace.
Mobs die in a few globals and the amount of self healing/cooldowns provided are amazing!
Here is the spec I recommend @ 50 for the fastest/most efficient AOE farming or loltrash pulls

Currently going with the Inquis/Justi/Warden and loving it! the self heals and extra HoTs really give an oomph and I can solo invader packsLots of fun!
