Actually clerics cant wear cloth..I've tried.

My original question dealt ore with the distinguishing factors between a melee mage and a melee cleric. As it stand snow, they are both the same to me. I fail to see how anything about the new melee mage is unique to that class now. It may as well be a cleric.

    About 800 to 1200 DPS.

and its rather obvious from their icon on the site that the new soul is another tanking one.

Honestly all this crying on the forums is kind of unwarranted. After seeing the mage video they are making a good number of changes to our other souls with the expansion.

If people don't think that rogues, clerics, and warriors are going to be getting changes to their other trees then you're just kidding yourself.

Stop crying about how your calling will be useless in the expansion until you've seen the changes they're making to your calling.

All this QQ after the mage video is getting ridiculous.

But yeah, we need to see what clerics are getting before we can truly make comparisons.
I don't see how anyone can see the Chloro changes as a nerf. They are simplifying the healing mechanic to anchor it to cast time instead of damage. We haven't even seen how SP, buffs, and passive buffs effect the veil healing.

As far as I can tell with incomplete data, the changes will boost Chloros in PvP and keep them around the same for PvE.

That as well. Milk can be both homogenized and pasteurized.

What's the difference between a Warrior and a Cleric or a Rogue? All three can melee DPS and tank.

So I guess your answer is the same answer Clerics always give us Warriors... "You do it for the flavor!"

Damage scales better in raids than direct healing spells do. It's likely to be a nerf.
