A question for Ahov..

Currently my guild is working on Laethys and I'm lucky enough to get to run 51 inquis for the fight. I was wondering if you have any idea or parses that could give me some insight as to what numbers I should be shooting for in P1..

Any information and guidance would be lovely.

As i recall for phase 1 its around 4 to 5k, always put vex on both the boss and the mage add, depending on your tactic idk which one you focus your ST dps on tho, i tend to souldrain everytime its up to put clinging spirit on both, and when the mage is dead and they bring the adds in aoe them down with souldrain+circle of oblivion then repeat.

Side note: if that question was only for Ahov for some strange reason then i recommend using the private message xD

Be careful with soul drain. Laethys's hitbox is gigantic. I've managed to clip the adds that were basically halfway across the room with it and nearly killed myself.

Also depending on where you tank the adds, an example of when i soul drain is, if you look at the following kill (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...v=IWKUASF7Vw8#!) at 0:42 the adds + mage start coming, the main tank picks up the mage while i wait for the adds to pass by to the other tank, until its safe at around 0:47 then you can souldrain away.

You could simply just rotate BoD on both boss and add if you dont want to soul drain tho.

Oh also, when the mage is dead and the offtank brings the adds in to be aoe'ed, keep your distance from the big add as it stomps the ground and does aoe dmg, could be a 1 shot if it aligned with another aoe from the boss. So becareful when you go in to souldrain at that stage.

I guessed there would be other cleric responses out there so perhaps I should have been more broad in my appeal. I just know Ahov is pretty Johnny-on-the-spot answering cleric questions most days. But thanks for your input Byona...I just curious where my #'s should be at.

Your numbers are going to vary a lot depending on your job. Are you ST Laethys all the time? Have you to ST the Stoneseer down? Can you swap between them? Are you aoe on the adds?

In our raid I am ST on Laethys, then 100% ST on the Stoneseer. AOE Laethys and the adds. Rinse and repeat.

I try to leave my dots on Laethys when I switch to the adds, but I'm pretty sure I can improve my parses as I refine my roll.

I'm interested in trying J/B on her - but the melee thing is very problematic. *stacks more endurance*
