    As a Cleric i would much rather see a new talent tier than more points with the same soul.

    I would also like the enphasis on talents in the tree to be focused on synergy with other trees, rather than boosting the current tree so i can play around with the souls more and not be forced into a 51 build for maximum dps

    I can think of a couple (warrior) builds that would have significant gains from another 5 soul points. 51+20 is huge compared to 51+15 because it opens up the fourth tree tier and the 16-20 root abilities. For example, a 51RB could get Lingering Wounds, Slayer's Bearing and Frenzied Strike. You could make a 51 Champ RW build with Destroyer's Bearing (buffed in 1.8) plus Way of the Mountain and Flowing Strikes. Etc etc etc.

    The problem with the soul system and its shaky balance is that adding more soul points after it has been balanced (and I use the term balanced lightly, since Trion can't stop f**cking with it a year after launch) is that most of that balance work would have been wasted. Certain abilities are designed to be 'just out of reach' of 51-pt builds or of point-balanced 3 soul builds.

    So 71 points doesn't even come up.

    They could just allow the points used for leveling up to be used in another system entirely.

    Example: Each tree has new skills at the upper ends of their tree and are outlined by a red box. They appear in the final 5th, 6th, and 7th rows of those trees and the squares are outlined in red to distinguish them from normal skills and augments. Thus you can use your new points to access those skills, but only if you have unlocked those rows by adding enough points to get that far. They would be skills rather than augments as there are enough and they'd be more oriented for that tree. Just an idea.

    I would hope if they add more points they would do some overhauls to make the useless souls feel more you know... Useful and in that process they would balance the low level abilitys so they are useful but not broken when combo'd with 'pure' builds. I doubt that would happen though, because so much time balancing the game as is and if they do that they would have to start the balancing act over again... Ahhh we can all hope right?

    51 warden with Protect the Flock would make PvP unplayable, more than it already is. Add in 5 man arena and nobody dies!

    Fantastic for a raid environment though.

    51 Inquisitor with soothing stream.
    51 Warlock with soul purge
    51 Assassin with fell blades
    51 Rift stalker with fell blades (lol...)
    Any 51point Mage DPS build having bloom and flourish

    It would be stupid.

    i could make my 51 cab spec imo alot better with 5 pts. what i feel is already imo the best or one of the best AoE soul would gain 5% SP, 16% crit damage, some ranged life/death spells, an endurance buff, and two direct heals traded for 8-10% damage on instant casts, waterjet, a knockback, tidal surge,a cleanse that i wont really use, and two HoTs. I would end up losing very little for what looks like a large increase in damage especially decay.

    basically 51 cab with 36% crit damage looks good xD.

    i might make 51nb/20RS.. roflmao. enough rage about 44/22 nb/rs builds.

    Haven't they cemented that new levels are extremely unlikely?
    I mean PA would be kinda odd if they added more levels. Suddenly you stop gaining PA entirely and have to level normally again.

    But yes, there are several builds that have that skill they'd love for just ONE more talent point. Namely stuff like soul purge for 51you lock. Oh my :V
