New player coming back.

So the reason I say new player is because when the game initially came out I only got to level 17 before I dropped the game. I don't remember why I dropped it, but chances are some rl friends brought me back to WoW.

I'm looking for someone(s) to help me get into the game. I really want to understand what's what this time and understand the game better.

I really want to play a cleric or a mage. I'm currently reading both discussion and guide forums to educate myself as best I can.

i say mage is the better class atm,i play cleric and my dps sucks but i dont mind its great fun with the duracell spec

Thanks for the input, I'll check out the mage. I've been reading about a levelling spec using warlock, chloromancer, and necromancer. That looks like fun!!

I agree with the previous poster, unless you are one of those people that plays a cleric in every game, i would recommend mage over cleric. Clerics are very useful, and a lot of fun to play, but mages just have a bit more going on.
