"A dagger in the dark is worth a thousand swords at dawn..".
Developers set the rules. Has nothing to do with RL. They decided that stuns don't inhibit avoidance. What else is to say about it? If the OP thinks that it is unbalancing certain classes, sure, that we can argue about that. And, yes, all of these rules are totally stupid from a RL point of view.

Exactly Perros.
What you see and read are only representations and not what is actually happening.
Trying to relate a game that has magic with real life is dumb anyway.
Have you guys really not played a game where the mechanics barr B/P/E while stunned?
Or were you just not aware of class/game mechanics?
This is not comapring with RL, this is comparing to what I see. But obviously you didn't get it at all...
Ofc devs make the rules, but when you make rules, you have to make it so they are understandable. When you block/parry there's an animation with the shield or your weapon that is associated with it.
When you are stun, there's no longer the animation and still the effect. That's not consistent, at all ,whatever the game or your fantasy lol

Can't really compare the real life definition in a fantasy setting, as other have said.
If you can accept someone magically putting someone to sleep/stunning with a flick of the wrist, then you should be equally willing to accept that someone can "magically" dodge something even when they are stunned/asleep.
There are too many things in the game that don't make sense from an IRL perspective, nit picking all of them would be silly.
The biggest issue is balance in my opinion.
