    Default Devs are getting close, but its time to buff Druids and Saboteurs

    Every spec should have some use and as of right now Saboteurs and Druids are near (if not already) at the bottom of the barrel.

    Rift is a FUN game and the developers have always wanted it this way. If this is true, why on Earth is one of the more fun specs like Saboteur so useless right now? Why is their range so limited? Why is their damage so sub-par?

    it is my wish for this game to not become WoW in every way possible. But when I see things like this go unnoticed for so long it brings back bad memories of Shamans in WoW getting the shaft patch after patch.

    Buff Druids and Saboteurs, make the world a happy place!

    honestly i don't think sabs are that bad if you get 51 Sab and 15 Nightblade you do pretty good. although i haven't checked to see if there's any gear or essences specifically for them, so i can't comment on that aspect.

    You can play WoW in any MMO. You don't have to play WoW in RIFT. Oh, and no, RIFT is not a WoW clone. Not having fun any more? Learn to play, noob!     I was always sad about the state of druids, they look like such a cool class on paper till you realize they have absolutely zero synergy with anything.

    Agreed. Sabos are supposed to be getting some work done on them in 1.8 but it would be nice to see BM and Druid get some work done too.

    Sab was insane a year ago, guess they're literally too scared to buff it too much again, afraid they'll drown in a river of tears.

    Druid isn't bad now, but it isn't good either, it's pretty vanilla, no real burst, you have to slowly widdle people or mobs down. I'd buff the dmg of their revamped PvP spirit debuffs a LOT, atm they're more in line with the newly nerfed Waterjet tbh. Increase the earth dmg from them. The new mechanic of the Druid is nice, more ranged attacks and the Satyr works better now with a charge imho.

    Most of the pet classes suck in PvP tbh, they all need to be streamlined a bit in order to get more burst from them. NO one, and I mean, NO one fears ANY pet class in PvP, they're a joke atm.

    ALL the pet classes need more up front burst dmg, atm they all tickle ppl for nothing. People literally ignore pets, they're like bugs for the most part. Ramp up pet dps so that people HAVE to pay attention and deal with the pets, or do away with pet classes.

    Sad thing is some classes are basically either PvE or PvP, always has been this way.

    Dominator (in PvE), Beastmaster, Sab, Druid, Warlord (IMO), and Necromancer all need major class overhauls.

    Yeah, Necro really makes me sad, had my heart set on playing one in PvP for the RP factor of it, always liked Necros in other games, but the time it takes to build up your dps is silly, a 51 pnt Necro shouldn't HAVE to build up his dps, he's just too clunky and slow for PvP.

    Sab was insane due to a bug that if one charge crit, ALL charges crit. The devs fixed that and removed charge booster at the same time. Had they fixed the bug and only fixed the bug, Sabo would have probably been in decent shape. It wouldn't have had the 100% to 0% burst ability, but it would have still had viability.

    Sab's only problem is that a lot of it's abilities are only for soloing. You don't use traps or land mines on bosses. There are more than enough debuffs in the game already, so the utility charges are pretty much worthless (and lets keep the debuffs to the Support souls anyway, where they belong)

    We need some slight buffs to the single target charges to be better against bosses, especially bosses that don't have adds. Sab is probably the best soul for packs of trash, thanks to Incriminate and good bomb usage.

    This isn't really a problem, a lot of trees have abilities that are only useful for soloing, or only useful in PvP. Some even have 31-point talents or 51-point roots that are useless in PvE but are great classes anyway.

    Problem is they've designed them to be left on auto instead of being issued commands, in favor of a more active role for the player. That's probably fine, but the players don't have great burst either.

    As for Druid, they need to fix Eruption of Life's terrible scaling more than anything. Most instants have a 0.3 SP modifier, Sanction Heretic has a 0.6, Eruption of Life has nothing on the base hit and 0.015 per proc for a total of 0.045. It's really weird given how awful it scales given the really high base damage.

    Beastmaster, Warlord (to support),

    Sab, ranger,

    Druid, Shaman

    Dom (in pve most useless soul in pve in the game), Ele, necro.
