Devs are getting close, but its time to buff Druids and Saboteurs

Lots of souls need overhaul's.

Beastmaster, Warlord (to support),

Sab, ranger,

Druid, Shaman

Dom (in pve most useless soul in pve in the game), Ele, necro.

agree with everything here, with a few exceptions, warlord yes, support, all the way, but druid also should be true cleric support...shaman is actually looking pretty good after the recent round of buffs, i just wish they'd buff their "heart" buffs, or change them to make them more useful, as far as dom, i wouldn't say its completely useless in pve, as it has a great 0 pointer for solo purposes :P

Sab's aoe dps is too bad to warrant trash pack usage.

Good bomb usage? I assume you mean choking gas bomb. Guess what, I have deaden on a 10s cooldown in a spec that has no problems with dmg ramping, positioning, preloading, etc.

In the current state of Rift, sab is _only_ used for Estrode, and anyone running it for anything else would be better off in 51mm, let alone any BD or NB specs that have better aoe than sab does.


As for the overall topic of the thread, I agree - pet classes in general have severe scaling issues which render them obsolete in the current game, and we haven't seen anything that will address this issue. Ranger got an overhaul, but it was not enough. -edit- it's honestly gotten to the point where if I see a pet in my raid I know one of our DPS is screwing off

Sab can never be best soul for AOE trash, cab will always hold the crown, and if not then BOOST UP THE ST dmg, plain and simple

I agree that Druids could use some serious love.

Shamans in WoW getting the shaft patch after patch.

I was, on many occasions, one shot killed by a 2h Shaman who got a Windfury proc. I was a warrior in full AQ40 gear back then. I don't sympathize.

I am really enjoying my Druid. I could honestly see it getting a buff. I paired it with Warden and it's pretty decent. I just notice a lot of the powers we have have cooldowns which are ok, but our points are used to then reduce the cooldowns on some rather situational but powerfull abilities.

Overall, Im still having a ton of fun with my druid. I'd love to see it become more usefull though. for sure.
