Would it not have been a better idea to play them all equally anyway?

I have close to 600 PA, but over 4 chars, my character with the highest has less than 250.

When you started the PA grind, why concentrate on one character, when you would then create the situation you so loath to be in?

Do you have children? Would you send only one to university, put every bit of time, money and effort into getting that one child to uni, then complain that you can't afford schooling for the other 3 equally talented children because your number 1 son would not be able to complete his doctorate? Or would you put all 4 kids through equal cost tuition?

There's a certain Homer Simpson smack about this whole "Doh, look what's happened" it was obvious from the start.

So let's say one of your sons is really gifted, but you refuse to offer him special education in order to get the best out of his abilities because you have another two sons that are completely ******ed and you are spending most or your efforts with them, while ignoring your son that is gifted and ruin his future.

Isn't that the purpose of having a main character that your guild uses you as a given role in the roster?

Or in your case is perfectly valid to join in your guild's raid today with rogue as dps, tomorrow with cleric as heal, the next day with warrior as tank.

Spend more time on your main if you want more PA. I don't think PA/favor/prestige should change for altoholics, of which I am one.

These greater marks is hurting my ability to play alts. Since I gain them on my main but I rather play my alt, please make them account bound so my alts aren't neglected. The upgrade for the greaters are an entire tier difference which means I'm basically required to get them for my alt to be useful to my guild's progression.

Problem is,

if all characters on same account share PA it's more easy to get PA,

example you have 3 level 50 characters they can all do DH,GP,GSB,ROS,T2 Random, PVP Daily and get PA levels like candy.

PA is part of the Character-Progression so it should not be shareable.

And its not like PA is a bottomless pit where you can advance your character indefinately.

The absolute max currently is 1034, which is what you need to fill out every single hex in all planes and tiers completely.

Most classes will get their maximum benefit for dps at 300ish PA. At 800ish PA you've gotten everything you could ever want from both tiers + PvP, with the other 200ish possible being for stuff you'll never use.

My main can't progress any more with the current content. I can gain more PA's, but all it'll do is go into hexes that will never be useful for me. (mace dps on a rogue, seriously?)

This effectively means I spend more time on my alts now. The most progressed of which has HK 4 piece, 2 crystals, ~100 PA and 2 filled out cores.

You could argue that I play too much, and I probably do. But a character's progression in a mmo is solely dependent on how much time you've put into it.

If PA and greater marks were made to be shared by all characters of an account, I would literally be done with the game... because i would have nothing left to do... not even really having the option of making an alt to fill that void between now and when new content comes out.
