    Default I'm New and Unsure

    Hello,

I'm brand new to the game and i have rolled both a warrior (Dark Thane) and a Cleric (Thunderer).

I like the specs so far, but i don't want to go too far down the path without knowing some things.

    Couple questions:
    1. Can you respec within the trees?

    2. And also, can i drop a primary, secondary, tertiary role and pick up a new one?

    3. is there a duel-spec option like in WoW?

    4. Are these options expensive?

    thanks

    1. Yes. Visit your trainer to do so for a small fee.

    2. Um... do you mean souls or roles? Souls are the individual things you're sticking into the three slots in your talent tree, that open up new talent choices. Roles are extra specs (like WoW's dual-specs). In either case, the answer is yes.

    3. Your extra roles are the same as WoW's dual-specs. You can have up to six of them, by buying additional role slots from the trainers.

    4. Re-picking your talents is cheap. Buying extra roles will get more and more expensive with each one you buy, but the first one or two extra roles aren't unreasonably priced for a low level character.

EDIT: Oh, you're probably talking about the pre-set talent choices they added in the patch. Those are basically builds that Trion set up for people who aren't sure how to spend their talent points. There's a way to customize your point spending if you want to.

Thanks for the reply. As to your question, I mean can I change out my Paragon soul for a Reaver soul? I didn't see that I could do that after I applied my first point not a tree.

You can only change out the soul if you have no points in it. A class trainer can reset all the points in a role for an absurdly small fee.
