So the poor clerics, who have been dead last in dps forever, might now be able to scratch and claw our way to the #3 spot. So that makes us OP now?

Make paladin a ST heal soul then we'll talk.

    I'm going with:

    Rogue > Mage > Cleric > Warrior

Yes, until warriors get their fix and they are yet again on top.

I honestly think that the changes will be smaller, % based, then ever before.
They might actually be so small that a good Cleric/Rogue might beat a sucky Warrior/Mage on a DPS meter.

    Default really

Ok warriors it becomes apparent that we have some people who have no clue on how to play. I keep reading these post about warrior dps and really think these guys are either major trolls or just completely hopeless in any MMO. This patch really was a boon for warriors. If people would read the abilities they would fine some really good nuggets o chew on.

In playing on two of my warriors I found a increase of 400 dps. That a huge boost. That is taking off the dagger dps and pole arm increase dps. The new weapon changes have put them at 652 dps increase and a major boost. Thus I say this to all warriors. Really warrior is last in dps.

Now the second increase is Bm. I really don’t know what they did to pet. But his dps double. He went from 156 to 312. That is a wow factor. Thus anther dps boost for warrior.

So the question comes to mind. What build is being used and do these warriors understand macros? How you figure last? It more like
    Warriors
    Mage
    Rogue/Cleric

Now for my rogue it did get a small boost of 75dps for my off build. Which is great for me and I am still not sure on ranger pet dps. It seems to have a boost. Yet strangle the numbers don’t add up. Yes, I might be doing it wrong and plan on studying to see what I did wrong and adjust my strategy and macros. thus, i will look into this aspect.

    Peace out

Your name is the question I thought to myself after reading your post.

My cleric is now out DPSing my warrior by a long shot. About equal gear and I haven't even tried the supposed uber Shaman yet, just the 51Inq.

We now live in the age of the cleric. I DPS/Heal/Tank and support. We don't need no stinking rogues/mages or warrriors.

51 inq didn't get any boost.... somehow i doubt you actually play cleric, if you did then you'd know that we are dead last as tank, and are just now being considered useful as dps, every patch our dev says: "get back in the kitchen and heal"

right now clerics are still behind mages by a long shot, and just slightly behind rogues (on shaman)

    the order is currently

    mages
    rogues/clerics
warriors <--- it remains to be seen how they do after they get fixed

Actually my gear did, ready for T2 10 mans. I picked up 200 SP and 150 SC. At the same time my warrior took a >10% nerf, even with the stat changes. I never mentioned mages. ;)

    BEASTMASTER
    * Calming Influence: Now obtained at 20 points in Beastmaster. Now puts a single target to sleep for 45 seconds - the target must not be in combat at the time of the effect. Any damage on the target removes Calming Influence. Only 1 target can be under Calming Influence at a time.
    * Primal Rage - New Ability: Increases the damage of attack abilities for the Beastmaster and their pet by 7% per Bleed effect on the target. Duration is increased by the number of attack points when used. Obtained at 44 points in Beastmaster.
    * Enraged Companion: Aura now grants a 7% bonus, increased from 5%, and overwrites the Reaver's Enraged Essence. Buff effect should no longer stick around after the pet is dismissed.

    CHAMPION
    * Slayer's Bearing: Now properly works with AoE attacks.
    * Removed the reduced PvP effectiveness from Soldier's Bearing and Weapon Specialization.

    PALADIN
    * Aggressive Block: Now properly triggers Rising Waterfall.
    * Preservation: No longer prevented from being cast on a Paladin after the original target removes it. No longer causes you to enter combat.

    PARAGON
    * Deadly Grace: Fixed a bug causing Deadly Grace to deal less damage than it should.
    * Force of Will: Fixed a bug causing Force of Will to not effect AoE attacks. As a result, the critical hit damage bonus of all attacks has been changed to 3-10%, down from 10-30%. [edit: % fix
    * Rising Waterfall: Will no longer immediately break the buff granted by Surging Energy when it critically hits. Can now trigger from Paladin's Aggressive Block.
    * Removed the reduced PvP effectiveness from Teaching of the Five Rings.

    RIFTBLADE
    * Stoneshield: No longer causes the next ability to miss; instead, the next ability used on you will deal no damage. It also no longer triggers off of abilities the Riftblade used on themselves.

    VOID KNIGHT
    * Spell Sunder: Now checks for line of sight.
    * Surge: No longer ignores line of sight for threat generation.

Nope this was after the patch and I have yet seen any new patches. I don’t know why people are saying warrior got a nerf. Learn to read the abilities. There are dozen that a make over and some just seriously a major boost in dps.

In all the patch notes I have yet seen one nerf. In fact it seems more of a perk than nerf. If not highlight the nerf and explain. As it stands my warrior out dps my rogue, my mage is +/- 200 points behind my warrior.

Now for cleric I just heal mostly in pvp. I have yet tried out the new shaman or druid builds. As right now I just can’t believe the boost he and she got. So not sure on cleric dps.
    Thus, peace out.

Your bad at mage and rogue then. Glad you didnt say cleric because I would wonder how you ef up a one button spec. The nerf is not listed under our callings heading. The moved one of our major talents from scaling multipcally to additively, which nerfed our dps by 10-12% (including gearbuff effects) from 1.6. The best warrior raiders in the game are reporting 800-1k dps loss on sicaroon.

Nope on rogue I am only 400 points behind my warrior and my mage is about dead even after I respect to better build. But after my friends explain what warrior were doing. It seems best to be quite. Good luck with the try. I do hope it works out for warriors.

Ah, they were very clever about hiding the warrior nerfs. First, you see, it wasn't even in the Warrior section -- it was simply under "Souls". Second, they never mention what exactly got changed.

    * Fixed an issue causing some abilities that increase outgoing damage to combine with each other incorrectly.
Is the warrior nerf. We are not making stuff up.

Not playing a warrior anymore because it's boring.
